Skye Jones

Skye Jones, born June 12, 1996 at 11:54pm in Kingston, Jamaica. Survived by 2 siblings who adore her, Delyse & Durene. She is also survived by her parents, Joe and Ladonya, maternal grandma and grandpa, Maria and Juan, paternal nana and papa, Yolanda and Rudy. They say the brightest stars burn the quickest. From a young age Skye brought joy and light wherever she wandered. Whether it was on her adventures, in and out of people's lives or simply connecting with an old soul, Skye had the innate ability to disarm you. The comparison to a bright star is fitting because she was an unfiltered, immovable and unapologetic free spirit. Skye, a writer, had the most amazing sense of humor and inspired those she met to put pen to paper. Through beautiful expressions she had a way with words whether it was through her poems, dark humor and even sending hand written letters to those she loved most. Other than music, FAMILY (as she would always write it in all caps) was her most prized possession. This is not an ending for our beautiful, bright star but instead, in this new chapter, she lives forever. Rest in peace our sweet angel.
