Celebration of Life: Udall Park Ramada 9 on Saturday, May 8th at 10am. Please join us and feel free to wear park appropriate clothing or something colorful. We will be sharing memories, releasing butterflies and eating.
Of this time she shared here on earth with us, Sandra said, "I had an awfully good time." We were blessed (and cursed at times), to know that she had a health issue that would claim her in the near future. We used that time to create some wonderful memories with her. We had over three years on borrowed time. It definitely wasn't long enough but it was more than some people get. We all cherished that time, made amends, and we are better people because of it.
She is missed by her 4 children (Annamarie, Alicia, Brian and Erik), 2 adopted teens (Thomas and Calista) and most especially by Daniel, the newest addition to the family. Her reign as "Gunnie" is the role she rocked from day one. Her legacy of grandchildren and great grandchildren is vast, they include Rachel, Rebecca, Charlie, Elizabeth, Alex, Michael, Thomas, Calista, Dylan and Bradley, Dezirae, JJ, Alianna, Isaac, Tommie, Daniel, Hunter, and Hyphen (Stephanie).
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Stella Litchfield and James Rimer and Kenneth Litchfield (Papa), her brother Tom and grandson baby Charlie. Widowed at age 21, her first husband, Charlie, proceeded her in death as well.
She has left her brother Daniel (Jackson), nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends here on earth while she walks with the Lord in heaven.
We will miss her quick wit, dry humor, and deep well of knowledge.
