Sandra Mahon Ashton

Born in Dunfermline on 24th March 1961, one of 5 children, Sandra lived with her partner Dave and was a mum of 4 and a doting grandparent to Alfie, Melody, Thomas and Jake. Family was always very important to our mum. She was caring, kind and very generous...She always gave more than she actually had! She was a good friend and had a mischievous and silly side to her...(her granddaughter sometimes called her "naughty nanna " as she could be a bit cheeky!) She was full of smiles and laughter....but also didnt hesitate to speak her mind: you didn't want to get on the wrong side of mum! She was bubbly and chatty and full of fun but also very genuine and honest. She was taken from us far too soon but she would have been very proud to see how well people thought of her. We hope to give notice of our mums funeral on this page, but in the meantime, if you wish to we are accepting donations for a memorial bench for mum in lieu of funeral flowers....although you may send flowers if you wish.
