My condolences for the loss of your loved one. The hurt and pain of losing a loved one is difficult. Please know that God is near to those that are broken-hearted and who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 God will wipe away all tears from their eyes and death will be no more. Revelation 21:4

Daryl and I have been neighbors to Ron and Beth for 10+ years. Daryl met Ron first and I can remember him telling me "He's a yankee" Daryl would eventually list Ron in his phone contacts as Yankee Ron. I met Ron because I used to have a flower bed by our mailbox and every Saturday morning I would be pulling weeds and Ron would be coming back from his morning walk. He would always stop and talk to me. He was always friendly and so optimistic. One vivid memory Daryl has is one day Ron and Beth went for a walk only to discover they were locked out of their house. Daryl took his ladder over and Beth scooted up and broke in. Then last year, Ron came over and told us about his illness. We were floored. Ron slowed down and I would rarely see him. But one of my life's most tender moments was one day I saw Ron and Beth walking and she was carrying something. Curious to know what she was carrying, I realized it was a chair. Tears would spring to my eyes as I witnessed such a small representation of a great love. Life is really all about the small moments and we are so honored and thankful to have shared some with Ron and Beth. Love you my friends. Daryl and Jennifer Milton

Definitely a life worth celebrating! Since I live in AZ, I don't see my "east Coast" family very much but I would hear about what Ron was doing and admired his free and independent spirit. I'm sure he was an inspiration to many people that he met. Sad that I didn't get to know him and Beth better. RIP

I met Ron through Beth, who I've been friends with for over 50 years. Beth has always been my most adventurous, independent friend: she graduated high school early, moved to Alaska, worked for a stock brokerage, went back to school, moved with her dog and cat to Morocco, moved back and earned an MBA and worked in finance in New York City all before we were thirty. When she told me she'd met a scuba instructor and wanted to sell everything, buy a boat, fix it up, and sail the Caribbean with him, it didn't really surprise me. But little did I imagine that they would be partners in life for the next 30 years, sharing the adventures of sailing, hurricanes, race car driving, caring for aging parents, and finally, the challenge of facing Ron's illness together with such grace, courage and love. I feel like I know Ron, his humor and his kindness, even better after listening to some of the people who loved him speak at his Celebration of Life today. It was a testament to a life well lived, and a love that endures. Rest in Peace, Ron. Love you Beth. Lindy

When we were little I remember birthday parties at Ronnie's house. He loved playing cowboys and Indians and it was a treat to see Aunt Ellie, Uncle Billy, Russ and Ronnie. My favorite memory of Ronnie and Beth is when we were on a cruise and spent a beautiful day with them on their huge boat, in St Thomas. It was a sunny day and dolphins were near the boat. It still remains my favorite day of vacation ever.. They were the perfect hosts and it meant so much that they shared a piece of their wonderful life with us that day. So sorry for the rough time Ron had suffering from esophageal cancer. RIP Ronnie ❤️😢🙏
