Ron was born on May 13, 1942 in Fall River Massachusetts. He graduated from Warren High School in Bristol Rhode Island. Having a strong conviction to serve his country, Ron enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in June 1960 and served as a Machine Gunner. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal in June 1964. Upon returning from his Marine assignments, Ron joined the Bristol Police Department and continued to serve his community. His sense of adventure and desire to provide for his family, drove Ron to relocate to California in 1967 with his wife Beverly Ann and their three daughters Elizabeth Marie, Rhonda Jean and Dawn Marie. Once in California Ron and his family lived and worked in several locations including Santa Maria, Newbury Park and Oxnard where he ended up raising his teenage daughters as a single father when his marriage to Beverly ended in divorce. After raising his daughters, Ron relocated to Simi Valley and met his wife Graciela (Nancy) Mieryteran and he became a father figure for her two sons Giorgio and Giancarlo Bresani. Upon moving to Cathedral City, Ron worked as a Property Manager for several owners and enjoyed his day to day interactions with the public and his family. Ron will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and sarcasm. Cooking, fishing, baseball and music were were among many of his favorite things. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and spent many happy times traveling and visiting new places. Many wonderful memories were made with him cooking and socializing at family functions and holidays. Ron was a very loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, husband, and friend. We will miss him dearly and know he is resting peacefully now. Semper Fi Ron!
