Memorial

Roger Rael, Rebel 48, of Questa passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Eloy E. Rael, infant sister, Lori Rael, great nephews, Jonathan Montoya and Paul Emilio Trujillo Jr. He is survived by his son, Ryan Rael, mother, Adonilia Rael, brothers and sisters, Viola Trujillo (Fernie), Irene Montoya (Jake), Evaristo Rael (Barbara), Beatrice Anglada (Harold), Linda Martinez (Claudio), Lee Rael (Rita), Gloria Vigil (Snyder), Steve Rael (Michelle), Frances Martinez (Johnnie), Frank Rael, close friend, Cody Giarrizzo, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Evening Service was held on May 16, 2013 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral Service was held on May 17, 2013 at the Alta Vista Middle School gym in Questa with interment following at El Pueblito Cemetery.

Roger knew what buttons to push. We fought with each other. He was always so sure of himself. It bugged me. Over the years, I watched him grow into a good man. The last conversation I had with him a few months ago at the grocery store proved to me how beautiful and kind he had become. He truly had become a good man. The population of good men has just become smaller without him to shine his glorious light on the lives he touched with grace.
