These are just some of the many many years of camp pictures that QBert captured. It just made me realized how timely he took each pics to capture the joy of the ministry God had entrusted in him. Even though he wasn't in it often, you can see his life's reflection in each of the pics about his love for God, his Abba Father!

I will miss Kuya Bert's friendly greeting and his warm smile whenever we see each other. He was always interested in how the family is doing and would ask about my siblings. The Lord used him mightily in building up the youth at FBC including me. Kuya Bert was a role model to us of a faithful servant of God. I have fond memories of listening to Kuya Bert and respected how well he prepared those Sunday School lessons growing up. We love you, Joel, Annie, Chelsea and Hayley Martinez

"No we didn't really know how much we loved you ‘til we lost you I know we didn't really lose you That's just how it looks from here Right now it seems we'll never understand God's higher ways But we are trusting Him until the day we do And He will carry us just like He carries you And if we believe His promises are true (QBert), I know we'll see you soon Gonna see you soon I know we'll see you soon..." - Steven Curtis Chapman

My memories of Pastor Bert are filled with so much warmth. As I look back, I'm grateful to have been a recipient of an abundance of love and guidance from both him and Mama Cynth. Pastor Bert was someone who so clearly loved people, moved towards them, and treated others as his own family. I'm so grateful for how God brought me to FBC Oak and used Pastor Bert (among MANY others) to love me, take me in as their own, and show me that there is a Heavenly Father who cares deeply for me. I'm thankful for his example of what it looks like to serve God, to be faithful to His church, and to love generously. As I remember his life, I hope to emulate that same kind of faithfulness, generous love, and warmth.. so that others would know the Father's love for them as well. looking forward to rejoicing with you in heaven one day, pastor bert! thank you for everything.

Tito Bert Thank you so much for Everything. I'm spiritually blessed from listening to all your messages. You set a good example to all people around you. You have touched so many lives through your ministry and faithfulness in serving our Dear Lord. You never missed to visit ministry workers in Ilocos, La union and Manila everytime you have your vacation here in the Philippines. I'm glad I can be of help in driving you to all these places and I'm going to miss this. I can see how you encourage people to pursue their works for the Lord's ministry and this has truly bless them. Now you are with our Lord in heaven receiving all your reward for all the works you have done for Him. I love you tito ♥️ and I am going to miss you. You treated me like your own son, Im going to miss your wisdom, your encouragment and your love for me. Surely I'll see you in God's time. Rest assured tito bert that we are all here for tita Cynth. For me, Kuya Bert is an old family friend way back in the 60's at First Baptist Church of Manila. I was a young girl, and he was one of the youth leaders in the church my father pastors. It was here in the US that my family connected with him again. And since then, he has always been a part of Ormeo celebrations and losses. As he leaves us, I see it as another celebration, not here, but in Paradise. Goodbye for now, QBert, see you one day in eternity! The Ormeos love you!!! Say hello to our loved ones up there!
