Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, pray for me to have a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
In Loving Memory
Robert “Vincent” Viramontes
April 6, 1989 – January 7, 2022
Robert Vincent Viramontes (32) of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. "Vince" was born in Covina, CA, on April 6, 1989, to Yvonne (Sanchez) and Robert Santiago Viramontes.
The outdoors was home to Vince; riding through the dirt and finding views on the top of mountains. He documented his many adventures on his GoPro through mountain trails with his friends and wife. He loved camping and being surrounded by fresh air, trees, and bonfires, especially in the company of his loved ones. Ball was life. Basketball was Vince’s favorite sport and Kobe Bryant was his all-time favorite player. Vince actively played in basketball leagues and frequented the city parks to play in pick-up games with others. Vince possessed a `patience and passion for coaching—whether it was basketball at St. Joseph’s Catholic School or cheering others on in life.
Vince was quiet by nature but was always playful and fun. Known as a “big little kid,” he always took the time to foster relationships with all his family and friends, especially the young ones. Fist-bumps, high-fives and nerf-gun wars were Vince’s love language. Vince was an incredible man who lived his Catholic faith, loved his family, and adored his wife of 8 years.
Vince was a protector and provider who always looked after his family. A homebody at heart, he loved being surrounded by those he loved. He was a thinker, always thoughtful in all he did. He enjoyed barbecuing and experimenting with various spices and ingredients. He found creativity in cooking and showed his love to others through the food he prepared. His love was great, will never be forgotten, and will live on through those he loved.
Vince’s education initially began at Nelson Elementary Public School and followed by his attendance to St. Joseph’s Catholic School under the guidance and influence of The Carmelite Sisters, which he wholeheartedly embraced throughout his life. He attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School and studied at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He worked at Houlihan Lokey, located in Century City, in the accounting department for 5 years. In his downtime, he was dedicated to improving his communication skills, coding and analytics taking various online courses and indulging in informational podcasts. Vince was naturally gifted, always took the time to improve himself, try something new, and never stopped learning.
Vince is survived by his wife Audrey Danielle (Rodriguez), his parents Robert and Yvonne Viramontes, his siblings Alyssia (Steven and Malia Garcia) and Nicholas Viramontes, his grandfather Filiberto Viramontes, his godson Anthony Sanchez, his goddaughter Victoria Villarreal and two adoring dogs Skye and Lemmy. Vince was predeceased by Ramona Viramontes (grandmother), Lucy Sanchez (grandmother), Michael Sanchez (grandfather).
