Rick brought joy and color to my world from the moment we met. He is my life's love, my friend, Alex's dad and a gem of a human. I will miss him always. The memories people have shared over the last couple of days have meant so much to me. It is a great, deep, comfort to know he was loved and appreciated by you. Dear Pam and Alex, our hearts go out to you. I remember very fondly your beautiful backyard garden and the redwood fence Rick made. A creative soul & such a great carpenter! We raise our glass of wine to him at dinnertime all month, to salute his life. Keeping you both in our thoughts at this most difficult time.

Rick was an outstanding human being with a heart of gold. Rick stood by me when my life was so out of control with kindness and understanding. His art and music warmed my soul and he was the best listener ever. We became good friends in the 1980's and eventually lost touch and lived our separate lives, but Rick will always have a tender spot in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss Pam & Alex I lost my husband 3-31-2020 so I do know the kind of loss one feels. I also lost my oldest sister & nephew in August 2020 among a couple dear friends ironically none to Covid. Prayers and Blessings to you both.
