Uncle Randy greeted me "hey, buddy!" in a way that always made me feel good and put me at ease. We celebrated holidays together throughout my childhood. I love this picture of him taking us trick-or-treating while my dad drove us around the neighborhood with the lawn tractor. He was a big bearded guy, but had a soft heart and a silly sense of humor. When I was 4, grandma's poodle "Uncle Teddy" nearly bit my ear off. I like to think that Uncle Randy was avenging me when he later fed the dog a booger. I remember he and my brother trading disgusting Christmas gifts every year, like some horrible bug Uncle Randy found in his shop -- that's just a mild example. He was one of my dad's very best friends. He was a great guy and I was always so happy to see him. I love you Uncle Randy, I miss you.

I remember Uncle Randy riding the tractor out on their farm in Watertown when we'd visit or tending to their horses! He was a biker and in a band I think 45 RPM. I wish I would have seen him play. I remember him building a beautiful log cabin with my Aunt Marilyn! He was a hard working man. RIP Uncle Randy!

Endless wonderful memories to share about my Dad. A man of few words, but a big heart. Dad was my motorcycle buddy when I didn't have anyone to ride with. Dad was an assistant basketball coach giving up his free time to help lead me and my grade school team to victory. Me and Jer joked he could build anything! For like $8. So many talents. 🤣 Gone from this earth too soon, but reunited with Mom in heaven.

I always remember Uncle Randy as a gentle giant. In our childhood we would visit the farm where Aunt Marilyn clipped coupons and prepared wonderful meals (also my first experience with fresh goat's milk). My cousins Jere and Ang were much younger and cute as buttons!!! There was always love surrounding us in that house! I remember Uncle Randy taking us on a sleigh ride once. But my favorite memory was when he toted me around with him when he was shoeing horses one day. We also stopped by the place where the majestic clydesdales were! What a magical day! A few years ago i ran into him on a flight (see picture) we BOTH happened to be on from Arizona to Colorado Springs (continuing on to Fort Meyers). He had just attended Jeremy's wedding and the coincidental meeting was a pleasant surprise! Rest in love and peace Uncle Randy. Thanks for the great memories!

I have a lot of very fond memories of my Uncle Randy. From early childhood, we spent many birthdays and holidays with my cousins, Uncle, and Aunt. I remember Randy's horses and going for a ride in the wagon, watching WWF for the first time ever, watching Packer games, target practice with bow and arrows, hunting deer, my first time ever riding on a Harley, and many other good times. As I got into my early teen years, our relationship developed into one of lovingly making fun of each other. That hit its peak when we started exchanging gag gifts for Christmas each year. Some of those "gifts" were pretty clever, and always hilarious. I remember getting a "horse apple" wrapped up in a box with red and green tissue paper inside, a mannequin butt, some kind of large/dead beetle, and a few other funny gifts. Each year, this tradition grew as we tried to outdo each other. Randy's humor was so fun, and I will always look back on those times with joy. He certainly was one of a kind, and he will be missed but never forgotten. He was a very dedicated husband to my Aunt and father to my cousins.
