What words would you use to describe Randal?
Caring is one word I would use to describe Randal. As an example, our cousin Michael was at my house and was planning to backpack from the bridge of the gods to Olallie lake in June. It was an exceptional snow year and Michael was going to have to navigate through snow to get around Mt. Hood. Randal drove to my home in Welches to visit with Michael to make sure he knew what he was in for on the mountain. It was very considerate of Randal and I believe when he left he felt confident in Michael being equipped and capable to undertake the adventure and Michael did successfully accomplished his trip.

I love the relationship Randel had with my dad (Steven) and Robert. It was always special to see the three of them together drinking a mysterious bottle of wine out of a brown bag at our family gatherings.

I always knew he was the one. Larger than life. One of a kind. I will always miss him.

We never lived close to Randall and the rest of the Lindseys. My parents, especially my dad, nonetheless made sure we got in at least an annual visit. As kids, it was fun to hang out at the Gresham house and play in the backyard. Randall was always the hit of the gathering and always had something good to say about everyone. Sometimes the Lindsey gang, as dad referred to them as a group, would come to our lake place. Here are a couple of pictures lifted from a home movie on a trip to the lake. Randall will be missed. But his smile and outlook was linger forever.
