I thank God for the blessing of a father-in-law of 27 years who was magnanimous, respectable and remarkably patient, a fine example of a true gentleman. You loved our boys dearly and they adored you in return. It may be farewell for now but it is not goodbye forever. Love, Evelyn Chong (daughter in law)

It is my honour to be the one who conducted the wake and funeral services for this beloved brother of mine in Christ Jesus. Pong Koo was a well-recognized faithful servant of God and a caring friend of many of us. Brother, see you again in eternity. To Alice, Patrick, Fon Ho and Kar Po and all family members, stay strong in the hope of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.

Although I haven’t met you, but your son’s memorial spoke of a father, a good gentleman who had much love from his family. Just like my own dad who had left us last month, I still thank God for his love for each of us in moments like this and I know that we all have been blessed through this challenging time. As I look forward to the years left for me, I know that the same will be made ready for Patrick also, for granted are we daughters and sons of God, who has brought love and joy in each of us, to walk in love and pain in this world. And that will be reminiscenced through to that moment we yet meet again somewhere and sometimes in the future ahead. And so I pray and along with Patrick to continue our walk ahead and we ask that to let us continue to do good for our neighbours and loved ones till that day. In love with our Father in eternity. Love.
