Phuong A. Spedding passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home in Levittown, PA on Thursday August 4th, 2022, due to complications with congestive heart failure at the age of 54.
Phuong grew up in the Pinewood section of Levittown and graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1986. After graduation, he attended West Chester University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Writing in 1991. Phuong achieved the highest distinction in the Boy Scouts when he became an Eagle Scout in 1987.
In addition to Levittown, Phuong lived and worked in West Chester, Newtown, and New Hope. Phuong’s talents enabled him to excel in various industries including banking and mortgages, auto and retail sales, and construction.
Phuong enjoyed traveling to North Carolina to visit his family and spoiling his 4 nieces and 2 nephews. In his spare time, Phuong enjoyed simple pleasures like reading science fiction novels, watching movies, cooking, camping, visiting the Jersey shore, and helping his family and friends.
Phuong had a favorite lunch spot in Levittown at the Mill Creek Inn where he met up with friends for lots of great laughs.

A few family members and friends gathered on Sunday August 7th, 2022, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Levittown to remember Phuong. Interment will be private in North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, or a charity of your choice that helps children explore and enjoy the outdoors.

I adored my buddy from WCU and still can’t believe he’s gone. Loved by so many of us who went to college with him or knew him in town here. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Phuong was one of a kind. Rest In Peace my friend.
