Paula Sue Wallace
February 22nd, 1950 - March 31st, 2020
February 22nd, 1950 - March 31st, 2020
Fierce fighter. Mother of two girls and spiritual mother to many more. Friend. Artist and writer. Cancer survivor. Prayer warrior. Hope giver. Spring of 2011 was a marking point for Paula as she encountered the love of God in a way she never had before. In a moment of time, she found healing and wholeness, redemption and restoration. She experienced the tangible love of God and it shaped her life from that point forward. Paula had a deep understanding of Jesus as her rescuer and her hope was rooted in His promises. Even after tragically losing her oldest daughter, Paula still trusted that God is good and He would bring her through. Joel 2:25 was her life verse, "I will restore to you the years that the locust had eaten..." and she saw God fulfull this verse in her life time and time again. On March 31, 2020, Paula slipped into eternity after fighting a virus for a couple short weeks. She finished this life well and is now in the presence of Jesus, sure to be dancing, singing and laughing alongside her oldest daughter, Kimberley.
Paula is survived by her brother, John, daughter, Amy and her 6 grandchildren (Kaleayn, Aubre, Jadon, Anna, Selah and Asher).

Paula was a great and powerful presence because of her resilient trust in her Papa God regardless of the past and the disappointments and wounds from the past. Paula and my wife knew each other much better than I did, but I got to know and appreciate her more over time. Then she joined our Home Group and we all got to learn more about her life and love in the Lord. I miss her but I hope and look forward to getting a brief about Heaven from Paula after I arrive. We love you Paula and always will

It has been weeks and I still don’t have words to share what’s in my heart about your dear, wonderful mom. We had known each other for... 45 years!! For 45 years we watch, laughed, cried and just shared life. I made a cool looking breakfast - I’ll never get another pic of one of Paula’s masterpieces, no more soup recipes that were so easy, I actually learned how to make soup. What will I do on Aug 3 to celebrate Kim’s going home, or Feb 22 to celebrate one more year of friendship. However will March 31 replace those memories? I was there when Paula Sue found spiritual freedom from her tormentors - that’s when she did her first happy dance! It always made us laugh & rejoice at how great is our G-d at the same time. She loved you and Kim fiercely. I was there when she sent her baby girls from Bourne Texas to live with their dad because she knew it was best for her girls. And I watched her do it all again when her Papa took Kim home to be with Him. Such hard stuff, such wonderful moments with her Creator - always, Paula was an inspiration, and she was my person - we loved to go spiritually deep. Then, her brother John - when she didn’t know it, he was watching after her. She loved her brother and had begun to understand that he didn’t just love, he treasured his little sister. Well, I’ve got 45 years of memories & each one brings joy to my Paula world. I don’t know yet how this will look in a year, or if I will have found any form of closure. I so appreciate your memorial board - I can say that I will forever in this life, love, admire, remember, laugh, wish I could tell her the latest saga, all while knowing she is finally safe in the arms of her Yeshua. May blessings of Heaven bring peace to you and your family. With warm love and affection -❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. We loved Ms Paula. My son, Kadyn had so much fun with her when she worked at SSBA. She would tell me that he would make her laugh with his jokes and he would always say, “oh, Ms Paula is so funny”. She will be greatly missed as we have so many fond memories of her at SSBA , and keeping up with her paintings as well. May GOD bless you and your family during this time. We will see you again one day Ms Paula - in our everlasting life ! ❤️

My husband and I had the privilege of being Paula’s pastors. Paula was a delight. She had such a passion for Jesus and a love for people. She could always be found at the altar after church praying for people; Encouraging them and leaving them with a warm smile and a comforting embrace. Paula would always sit In the second row at church right behind me. I loved worshipping with her and hearing her voice behind me always made me smile. I found myself agreeing with her in prayer as she would whisper during services... “yes Father!” “Holy Spirit, come”! She was a faith builder. I never doubted that I was loved because she reminded me every time she saw me. She would wrap her arms around me in the biggest and warmest embrace and whisper in my ear, “I really love you and you are God’s favorite!” I’ll miss her and I wish I could see and hear Her savior embrace her with his loving arms. I know... in fact I can almost hear Him whispering in her ears, “you are so deeply loved and you are my favorite!”

I am broken hearted tonight at the news of her passing. Paula was a mighty princess warrior and I loved to watch her dance in worship!

I fell in love with Paula Easter of 2018. She and I made appetizer boards together. She was a riot! I felt so safe and comfortable with her. She shared her story, listened to ours, and loved on her family. The day was perfect! Paula will be missed dearly. Praying for her family and those that knew her.
