Nathan Shamcher Grandison

On Thursday, December 10th, 2020, our beloved Nathaniel David Shamcher Little Rain Grandison passed away at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA, due to a non-COVID related illness. We were graced with his gentle presence, vast love, and indomitable spirit for 27 years. 

Nathan Shamcher was born on March 25th, 1993 to Kathleen and Gregory Grandison at his home in Shelburne Falls, MA.  He is survived by his parents; three older sisters, NurAlima, Claire, and Kristia Grandison; his aunts, uncles, cousins; and his nieces and nephew. 

Nathan Shamcher’s family would like to thank everyone from the community who cared for him over the years, from school staff at Heath Elementary and Mohawk schools, to his personal aids, nurses, friends, and to members of the community.

For those who would like to say goodbye to him, you may visit Nathan Shamcher at his mother’s home at 22 S Silver Lane in Sunderland on Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th from 10 am - 4 pm. Visitors should wear face masks and practice social distancing inside the viewing area in her garage.
