Michelle Giles, born in Lambeth, England February 27, 1960, to Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Giles, passed away of natural causes in the Spring of 2020. Michelle was a kind and giving nurse, with a sharp wit and generous laugh. She studied at Great Ormond St. Hospital, England and in Toronto (George Brown). She cared a great deal for the old and the young, and was an exemplary nurse and nanny to many kids and as well as friends at Oriole Park Junior Public School. Michelle was well known in the sailing community of Toronto, where she was an avid racer, winning many club races, and will be missed on the race course and in social circles, especially at Alexandra Yacht Club, ABYC, RCYC and the former Queens’ Quay and Harbourside Yachting. She is survived by her brother Maxwell, and many friends in Canada and England.
