Hi Mom, your grandson and granddaughter are growing up and continue to amaze me. The joy they exude when they find something they like to do is contiguous. KJ is finishing up his Junior year in HS and Kira Jai will be graduating from the 8th grade heading to HS. Also, I'm in the final stretch of completing my Master of Science in Information Systems at DePaul University, College of Computing and Digital Media. I'm scheduled to walk after my birthday on June 11th. Shawn and I are doing our best to provide for the kids and encourage them while they journey through life. Two years and two weeks ago, we laid you down to rest. We cannot believe that you are no longer with us physically. However, we find moments where you are present and right in the mix of a conversation or thought. We love you, mom, and rest well. May God keep our family in perfect peace. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." - Isaiah 26:3 Your loving son, Kevin McGhee

Granny my granny🍪 My God‼️ This is sooooo tough for me. Seeing you Rest In Peace was sooo hard for me but knowing that you are with our Lord, I'm ok. But my heart is still so sensitive. Hearing your name brings me to tears. Driving pass your house brings me to tears. Seeing pictures or hearing people talk about how BEAUTIFUL and Wonderful you were just breaks my heart. Knowing that I won't be able to physically hold you and love on you like I want too. I'm saddened by the fact I won't be able to see that beautiful face any more and it just hurts. Hurts sooooooo bad😔😩😭...I just miss you sooooo much I can't even deal. Continue to give me words of wisdom grandma. I love you Mae Etta McGhee🥰😘😘😘😭😭💔

First, I want to offer my condolences to Rodney, Anthony and Kevin. I remember your mom as a hard working, loving, kind and devoted mother. When we lived next door to you guys, I remember seeing her come home from long work days, clearly tired, but she always had a hello and a smile. My heart goes out to all of you, and I know that the sadness and tears will one day turn into smiles and laughter as you remember all of the wonderful things about your mom.
