Until we meet again

On September 13th, 2020 we lost the light of our lives, our sweet Lori Lee (Bergstrom) Still. She was born on June 24th, 1965 in Seattle, WA. She is survived by her daughter, Savanna Lyn Anderson, her sister Diana Bergstrom, brother Michael (and Marla) Bergstrom, and her mother Judy Tinnell along with numerous nieces, nephews and stepmom, Glo. Lori grew up in the Des Moines area and after graduation from Mt. Rainier high school, Lori went to work at DHL where she continued to work for the past 38 years. During her tenure, she not only became an asset to DHL, but also became a friend to all she met. Lori’s top priority was always her family and she was there for each and every one of them at every opportunity. She was also very passionate about her love and devotion for her many fur babies and all of God’s creatures. Lori also adored Elvis Presley and over the years gathered an impressive collection of his memorabilia. Lori always said that her greatest accomplishment was her beautiful daughter, Savanna, who she loved with all her heart and enjoyed spending time with. Together they enjoyed frequenting movies, enjoying fires in the backyard, going on road trips, visiting the beach, and attending as many concerts as they possibly could, sharing their love of music together. Lori was an incredible mom. We will miss that beautiful smile, that vibrant personality, but most of all her generous, giving, and loving heart. There is a brighter light shining in heaven now, and that, our sweet, beautiful Lori, is you. Until we meet again, and we will, may you rest in peace knowing how much you are missed and loved.

I don't know where to start. It's been one month today and I'm still in a state of disbelief; my mind just doesn't want to accept this as real although it's realer than anything else going on in this crazy world right now. I'll never forget when we met for the first time when our daughters started at Valhalla Elementary. I don't remember who spoke first but no doubt it was Lori. She's quite possibly the nicest person I've ever known, even when she tried not to be (which is laughable LOL). Ariana and Savanna were the best of BFFs all the way until around 10th grade and remain in touch on occasion even now. Lori took Ariana to so many fun events and definitely helped shape her into the awesome woman she has become. I got to go along occasionally. Such as when we took them to their first big concert, the Backstreet Boys and when we went to the Gorge for a festival. So much fun! It was Lori who not only got me hired at DGF but also blazed the trail for my boisterous personality to actually fit in somewhere! She's the only person I've met who can talk as much and as fast as I can and we can still understand each other lol. I'll never forget Mona saying when I first started, "Oh my! Do we have another Lori B Still on our hands?", the best compliment ever! If it weren't for Lori I wouldn't likely have met so many people who became important in my life. Life will not be the same without all the wonderful sounds and sayings of Lori that will stay in our hearts forever. I'll know just where to find her when I cross over because she'll be right on Elvis' lap, happy as a clam not having to deal with all this craziness. See you on the other side my sweet, nutty (like me), wonderful friend.

I love Lori to the end of all... she was loving, caring, funny and well just everything you would want to see in a person. I loved her laugh fits... she would just find a silly thing like the name Carol and just start laughing and just couldn't stop. Makes me smile to think of those moments we shared over the last 15 years.
