Was just thinking about Kurt and wanted to say something. Kurt and I became friends later in his life, probably around 2005 or so. Kurt was one of those guys where many people would say "he is my best friend". Most genuine, caring, empathetic, kind, loyal (and so on) friend a person could have. I loved Kurt. Like many of us, I was deeply and profoundly affected and saddened by his passing. It was way too soon. We all lost a special person. I miss you all the time Kurt. Your memory is a blessing for all of us. Michael Weis.

T First, my deepest sympathies to the Downham family. Kurt loved you all deeply and carried you everywhere. Kurt was a great person and figured out quickly that our biggest legacy in life is the quality of our relationships...and given that and like James Stewart in a wonderful life, "he was the richest man in town". You were a man in full and will be missed greatly and forever remembered. Peace brother (Wokamigo '87, acacia)
