Jim, The distant clan is gathering--Elaine forwarded your email to me. I am so grateful, as now I can share your loss but more importantly the love and life that you and Kate had together. What a gift it has been for me to get to know Kate via the photos, video, and the history of her life. She was quite the person---accomplished but clearly committed to helping others and working to make things better for all of us. I am thinking of you dear friend --I have such clear memories of those kids at Franklin and all you and they taught me. It is great to see that you have a solid group of loving friends and family around you as you face losing Kate. Please count me in that group, Elizabeth McCauley
