Joyce Beckmen Nee Towler

It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce M. Beckmen nee Towler announce her passing on August 19, 2018 at Michaelsen Health Center, Batavia IL. Joyce was born 83 years ago in Berwyn IL. Joyce and her loving husband, Carl W. Beckmen (deceased) were long time residents of Wheaton and then St. Charles IL and members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They enjoyed many winters in Stuart Florida. Joyce was well known for her extraordinary needlepoint skills as well as choir membership, organist and charity work though Lutheran organizations. She will be forever remembered by her devoted children, Keith and Kimberlee Beckmen, daughter-in-law Kathleen (Greenwald) Beckmen, granddaughter Mary Kate Beckmen, siblings, Gary Towler and Cynthia Kennedy, sister-in-law Sue Ellen Towler, brother-in-law Dennis Kennedy, nieces and nephews Jeffrey Towler, Amy (Towler) Lamonica, Cameron Cobb and Andrea Marek. Memorial Services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Charles IL on Friday September 7th at 7pm. Memorial donations may be made to Holmstad Benevolent Care 700 W.
