Josie Rae Curfman born on December 9th, 1996 to her mother Jenna Rae Curfman and father Ronnie Myrrh Hosey in Parkersburg, WV. Formally from Petroleum, WV and lived in Davisville, WV passed away on February 3rd, 2025 at 28 years old. 

She was survived by her soulmate Robert D Hupp, her mother and father Jenna Curfman and Ronnie Hosey, her sister's Ryla Skye Curfman, Zoey Leigh Baker, and Ivy Edwards, Maternal grandparents Sheila Pepper and Terry Pepper, Parental grandparents Betty Hosey, and David Hosey. Josie also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved her very much. She was loved by so many people and will always be missed. 

Josie will forever be imprinted into the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Josie’s embrace is nurturing and timeless. Her kisses dissipate all sound, thought, and troubles. The depth of her love has no bounds. Her stimulating smile, harmonizing “I love you” wrapped in sweet soothing snuggles. Josie’s selflessness is unwavering, pure mind and heart. She loved music, drawing, painting, and whatever was a good idea at the moment. She could find away to comfort you through the worst of times. Josie was always the light not matter how dark it could get. An angel in human form. A glimpse of the universe twinkled in her eyes. She had hers and I had mine and together we had a whole universe to call our own. She may not be here now, but when I gaze upon the stars, it’ll be like looking through her eyes once again.
