Jose Carandang, Jr

Jose L. Carandang, Jr passed away on January 3, 2022 after a brief battle with Covid-19. He was 71 years old. Jose or Jun as his family and friends like to call him was born June 2, 1950 in Tagkawayan, Quezon Province to Jose N. Carandang, Sr. and Consolacion L. Carandang. He graduated from National University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jun started working at John F. Cotton Hospital and held a position in Hospital Administration for several years. Jun dedicated his life to helping others. He always looked for opportunities to serve- especially those who needed it the most. He was the most selfless and kind person who always made himself available to anyone in need of his help. Jose is survived by his wife, Corazon Carandang and his daughter Corina Carandang. To family and friends who would like to pay their respects, a memorial service will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 2:30 pm at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Elkins Park, Pa.
