The thing I remember most about my Uncle Joe is his love for family and desire to stay connected. As my dad, Tom Collins, was in the beginning and even in the later stages of dementia, Uncle Joe would call every day just to say "hi" and make sure Dad was okay.

Joe was one of my favorite people. He always made me laugh! I think we were kindred spirits, always trying to fix something and it going terribly wrong somehow!😂 He loved to visit and tell stories. His smile made all of us smile because for 83, he was so cute! He never acted his age! Joe was a wonderful human being and his orneriness will be missed!
