Jeffrey Alan Brandstein

14 de marzo de 1951 - 26 de enero de 2022
Jeffrey Alan Brandstein started his trek up the Stairway to Heaven (yes, that is a Led Zeppelin reference just for Jeff).
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 14, 1951 and passed away in Paradise Valley, AZ on January 26, 2022.
Although we wish he could have been here longer, we are glad to say that he lived a very full, exciting, and adventurous almost 71 years of life. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Brandstein, sister, Claudia Schwartz, and neices Stacey Guss and Melissa Curtis, all of whom he loved dearly. He will be joining his father, Morris Brandstein and mother, Esther Katz, and beloved dogs Shana, Sadie, Buddee, Macie, and Bambi.
We will be having a small, intimate memorial with immediate family in California, but would love for you to share all of your memories and photos with Jeff on this memorial website. Jeff had so many great stories from throughout his life and we look forward to hearing yours.
Additionally, please consider donating to the Arizona Humane Society in lieu of sending flowers, as he had such a big heart for animals, the link to donate is on the main page of this profile.

I was a very old friend of his from Grant hi school…. and loved next door. I’m deeply saddened by this… I only wish that we would have crossed paths again

My uncle Jeff would never miss a special event for my sister and I. This was in '96 at my college graduation in Chico, CA. Best Uncle in the world!

I have very fond memories of Jeff and our times together with SAR. Haven’t seen Jeff since our reunion in LV some years ago but my memory of him is quite vivid.,a good man, quick with a smile. I recall a specific New Years Eve party that was both a goof and we were all a tad over served. For some reason I remember Jeff deciding to take a shower during the party. As he has now ascended his Stairway to Heaven, I’ll listen to Dust in the Wind in his memory. Peace brother

So very sorry
