Aunt Inez, you were the fiercest woman I have ever known. Kind spirited, spunky, filled with contagious laughter, energetic, generous, and always had a twinkle in your eye. A true warrior. I will always remember how you’d say “How are ya doin’ lady?!” I will always cherish memories of summers in Kalispell, MT with you and the family. Taking Emily and I out to see horses, water parks, lakes, or making sure we all got in the car to go to Glacier National Park. Last week was Emily & Odie’s stunning wedding. We all felt your presence with us as a family. The prayers and kind words that were said of you were a testimony to your character and legacy. Emily looked stunning, and the whole day was a dream come true with horses and dogs and all! Aunt Inez you are greatly missed and we love you very much. I’ll be grateful forever to be able to call you family. And a woman I will always look up to. It’s taken me a long time to post this, but I believe that Emily’s wedding, and the kind words that the pastor shared that day, and all of your friends who helped bring the day together allowed me to emotionally release the grief I had been holding in since last Christmas Eve. Montana sure isn’t the same without you Inez, but it’s the impressions you made on us that will last forever. Rest in beautiful peace, Aunt Inez. Much love and prayer to all who knew Inez.

Happy 38th Anniversary, today April 8th, to my incredible ETERNAL Soul mate! Though you are not here physically, I can feel your presence throughout my daily activities. Without you in my life making it complete, it would have been so empty, nearly meaningless. From age 19, we made such a fantastic team! Your endless love, sacrifice, selflessness , caring , work ethic, has touched untold numbers, and has left me with many life lessons and happy memories. Your compassion and understanding of not only what this life means, but THE MOST important, our eternal life, given freely only through HIS Gift of forgiveness, having faith like a child, the shedding of His blood, death & resurrection. My faith even became stronger following your example. We miss you more than words can express. I'm positive the Lord had much bigger plans for you.

We miss Inez! She was always very gracious and grateful. Even when she didn’t feel well, she was the one sending positive affirmations. We loved her humor and laughter. Inez had a genuine sense of wonder too as she appreciated God’s many creations. We will never forget her ability to multi-task and to knock out a to-do list! She was a bundle of loving energy. We had a lot of fun with the “Montana Berners” over the years. Tom, Inez, Austin and Emily were kind, generous and wonderful hosts-sharing the natural wonders of the Flathead Valley, local amusements and their lovely home. Inez’s passing is an earthly loss and a heavenly gain! We love and miss you Inez! ❤️

Inez, You were a great friend!!! Always ready to listen, help if you could, even when you were battling cancer you would end almost every conversation with ....is there anything I can do for you ? I never took you up on that, but was amazed at the selfless person that you were. You would always be trying to help your kids reach their potential, their dreams, pushing them (in a loving way), to become all they could be... Then when Emily was in the accident, I saw a mother that any kid would be proud to call mom!! You stuck by your Emily's side , never giving up on her ,despite discouraging doctors reports!! Days, weeks, months, and years went by and you were still at Emily's side helping her ,pushing her not to accept where she was at, but to take back and gain all she could!!!! Wow!! You were there for your kids !!!! You were there for Tom too, enciouraging him in all he did, and I know he misses you greatly!! You had many friends , I'm one of them.. I miss your smile, your laugh, your willingness to go do something spur of the moment if you could. You always asking if i needed help,, (even if i didn't ever use it), it was nice to know someone cared enough to offer help!! My life has truly been blessed having had you in it! I hope (as the Bible says ...we have a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on), I'm blessing you now by fulfilling a promise I made to you!! I love your family, and see how you have influenced each one of them !! You really loved the Lord ,and tried to walk uprightly before Him. Always ready to admit when you messed up, and would get up and try harder the next time . I am blessed having had you in my life and am so happy that we can spend eternity in heaven, never to be separated again....love you my friend and miss you a lot !!!!

Inez was the youngest of three daughters and was by nature highly kinetic and sweet. She had a great love of The Gospel and her family and friiends. She liked card games and enjoyed points gained by obscure rules that would allow her extras. She was quick to smile or scale her counter tops in search of that item that was too far out of reach. She had a grand knowledge of healthy wholistic remedies which she made good use of and shared willingly. I sat with Em and Inez during the great awakening of Inezs beloved baby girl after months of constant guardianship where Inez took the parts of nursing she was able to in order to assist in Emily’s care. She was as devoted as I have ever seen and understood the power her love had to help Emily succeed. I watched her lovingly massage her precious Emily and encourage her with words of love to cheer her on every minute of those restoration days. She was so grateful to God for all things. I admired her quick wit and smiling eyes as she made her way through some very difficult dark days. Inez walked by faith and inspired us with her hopeful never failing long suffering. I’m sure she continues to serve as a beautiful and faithful servant to God as she was a beautiful Wife to Tom and loving Mother and Grandmother ,Sister, Niece, Aunt and I’m so thankful I was her friend. She made us all feel loved. She is sorely missed . file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/b7/07/4D056BB8-3D0D-4E70-A0D9-CEE4D91ADC79/FullSizeRender.jpeg

I feel incredibly fortunate to have grown up visiting with my aunt Inez, Uncle Tom, Austin, and Emily each summer on our family vacation to Kalispell, MT. Inez’s energy and character were infectious and had an undeniable impact on everyone around her. I miss her and will cherish those great memories forever!
