Hanan Harfoush

Hanan was the embodiment of her name: a generous, compassionate, and kind sun. To be in her company was to feel instantly welcome and at home. She was and will always be the heart of our family. When we think about the things we love about Hanan, we can't help but smile. She took every opportunity to laugh - she pranked our husbands when first meeting them, she never stopped competing with her whole heart in the 'kids' easter egg hunts and when she played, she always played to win. She has always been the life of the party - and everyone was invited. Whether you were an old friend or a stranger she made you feel at ease, like you've known her for years. Hanan's joie de vivre was expressed amongst many hobbies. She was an avid yogi, weight lifter, walker, water-colour painter, card and backgammon player and a true force in the kitchen. Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend. She has left her mark on so many people and her loving memory lives on in our hearts and our stories, forever.
