Helped many of my friends and family members buy cars from George. He was so caring and a great storyteller. I will never forget the way he made me feel.

I wish I had pictures of all the great times and important moments George shared with his best friend, my Dad. My Dad met George around 1981 and those two were hysterical together George always said “Puff saved my life” but it’s more like they saved each other’s. George has been like a second Dad to me for 41 years. He was always there whenever times were hard making sure i was okay after Daddy died. He stepped in as a guiding presence, and I tried to step in to continue my Dads place in his life because he’d lost his best friend. There are so many stories to share but I don’t have the words to capture them all. I love you George- Rest In Peace.

This space has been created to memorialize my father, George Budnik. Please share your favorite memories, stories and/or photos of George so that we can all get to know him as you did. My father was one of a kind in many ways and meant something different to each of us. Please share who he was to you so that we can all see and remember him for who he truly was.

George and I worked together for 7 years at Healey Brothers. Even though we were near 50 years apart in age, we became extremely good friends. We would still text each other often up until a few months before his passing. He was one of the best guys I have ever met. We had a lot of good laughs over the years that I will truly cherish forever. He would always speak about this kids and grand kids, and was always so proud to be their dad. I know is he in a better place now, and he will be dearly missed. RIP Jorge!

I remember as a kid smelling his amazing barbecuing next door. It tasted even better than it smelled. Great next door neighbor to grow up with.
