Forever in our Hearts.
Fabian was with RB since its inception in 1999 and his career was both long and distinguished. He started his career in marketing and became the Marketing Director Adriatic before taking over Marketing for France in 2009. He, his wife Annette and their three children, then moved to Egypt in 2014, where he was successfully leading North Africa as a General Manager before moving back to France to take over the full region of France and Benelux. Fabian was as passionate about business as he was about people. He loved experiencing diverse cultures and was a passionate runner. He was loved and respected by his colleagues.

The world misses your smile, Fabian. And your very sly, subtle, logical sense of humour. I don't think we ever had a conversation in our two decades of knowing each other, whether in the lunch room at RB, Slough, or at our respective homes, where we didn't laugh out loud. Our attempts to make each other understand our respective cultures (What !? How long are your parents staying with you in London ? 2 months ? But, but, what do you do ???) or chats about bringing up our children or even our most recent conversation about early retirement (in Paris, September'18, when we met after almost a decade) - they were always full of warmth, affection and the respect you radiated for everyone around you. Your trip to India will remain an unfulfilled promise but one I hope Annette and the kids can take us up on. We need more like you on this planet which makes it doubly cruel if you're snatched away early. Lots of love, wherever you are, hopefully smiling, looking down benignly over your family and us. Farewell, Fabian.

Jerome and I are so saddened and shocked to hear about your sudden loss. Our paths crossed in Cairo and we truly cherished yours and Annette’s friendship and all the times we spent together. We remember you as a fun loving and family guy and our hearts break for Annette Noah Anna and Emile we hope they find the peace and the strength to carry on.... may you Rest In Peace.
