We will be coming together to remember Jon and honor his memory at Hollywood Forever this coming Saturday, February 26th. We will begin with a private visitation for immediate family only from 9 to 9:30am. The visitation will be followed by a memorial and remembrance ceremony starting at 9:30am, at which all who want to pay tribute to Jon are welcome. Those who are unable to attend in person will be able to join us virtually via Zoom:

Meeting ID: 893 9586 2716
Passcode: Lee930

A casual reception will be held at Kurve on Wilshire (2801 Sunset Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90005) directly after the memorial service. Please park in the garage on the ground level and head to the Klubhouse (6th floor). Note that Jon's parents Richard and Christina will not be in attendance.

The family politely declines gifts and flowers. In lieu of these things please consider remembering Jon's spirit by giving to others, whether that means buying a gift for a loved one to show your appreciation, or by donating to one of the many organizations currently working to provide aid to populations of vulnerable, marginalized, and struggling people. Any gifts received will be donated to community organizations in Jon's name.

Jason Lee

Jon Lee

Justin Lee

Jon Lee was born on September 12th, 1991 along with his twin brother Jordan, the third and fourth sons of Richard and Christina Lee. He was generous and kind and loving and passionate and romantic and gave all of himself to all he did, so he picked things up quickly and was good at everything--a champion golfer, a star on every team, a great cook and budding bartender who did everything with a sense of style and intensity that was entirely his own. But the thing he did best was love people. Jon (known alternately by his full name Jonathan, or Juan Leenon, or more recently, Jonadan Barthelona) saw the best in everyone and made friends wherever he went--and he went a lot of places, travelling the country in his truck with his beloved dog Peter, finding corners of places and people that only a person with his true and fearless belief in good could. He passed away on February 10th, 2022, at the age of 30, and his companion in his last days recounted how much he was thinking of and wanting to bring gifts home to his family and friends. Like the tree in his favorite book he was always giving, smiling as a baby for his family in every picture, and thinking of everyone but himself until the very end. This was simply his essence and nature and gift. We can all learn from the fierce grace, bravery and determination with which he lived, and carry his legacy by being the loving and generous people he sought and sought to be. But refuse the need to justify his life someway--he was not only enough, he was more than we could have ever hoped for. Jon is survived by his parents, Richard and Christina, his brothers, Jason, Justin, and Jordan, and his puppy Franklin.
