Cindy Lynn Stephens

Cindy Lynn Stephens 72 of Marietta Oh passed away with her daughter and grandkids by her side on January 23, 2025. 

Cindy was born in Springfield oh on April 1st 1952 to the late Rosa Mae Tucker { Johnson } & Robert Lee Stephens Senior 

She was a veteran of the United States Navy where she enjoyed traveling to places like Spain, Porto Rico & New York 

She worked at John’s Manville just shy of 20 years before the plant shut down, then she worked at cold water creek until she retired due to health reason.

Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family, going to yard sales & she was a big fan of Nascar, she also loved to work crossword puzzles and sudoku puzzles. 

 She talked a lot about the stuff she done and places she went while in the navy.  She would also talk about going to visit her grandparents in Kentucky on the farm and how much she loved going there. She really enjoyed going to her brother Bobby & Sister Sissy Christmas Eve parties, she always had fun. Everyone in the family enjoyed hearing her stories.

She is survived by her daughter Alyssa & husband Bryan Swearingen and grandchildren Cassady, Devon & Elijah Swearingen of Marietta Oh,  her brother Bobby & wife Judy Stephens of Parkersburg WV & sister Rosa Lee (Sissy) & husband Bill Justice of Kentucky along with nieces and nephew and several great nieces and nephews who she all loved.
