Cindy Kieu Nguyen

Cindy Kieu Nguyen was born on September 21st, 1985 to Viet and Kim Kieu in Escondido, CA. The family moved to Portland, OR a year later. She has 3 younger sisters: Christine, Tina, and Trini. Cindy attended Century High School and played varsity basketball as a freshman. She later attended Portland State University and then moved to California, graduating from San Joaquin Valley College's School of Dental Hygiene in 2013. Since then, she worked as a dental hygienist treating all of her patients with her bright personality and friendliness. In 2008, she met Christopher Nguyen in Las Vegas and they got married in 2015. They went on to bring two beautiful boys into the world, Caleb and Christian, aka "Boom Boom" and "Bam Bam". With them, she shared her passion for sports and love of visiting Disneyland while wearing their favorite Mickey Mouse attire. She never missed a chance to get everyone together to just eat, hang out and crack jokes to everyone present. For anyone who knew Cindy, they would know that she was one of the most welcoming, personable, charismatic, compassionate, and badass people out there. She was a mom, daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin, and friend and she will be forever missed. If family or friends needed anything, she was always willing to help because her loved ones were the most important facet to her. A dedicated and loving wife to Chris and an amazing and incredible mother to 3 year-old Caleb and 8 month-old Christian, she was taken from us way too soon. We are all devastated by the sudden loss of this amazing and beautiful person, who would light up the room as soon as she walked through the door. Services will be announced once the family has determined a date, though visitation may be limited due to COVID-19. The family appreciates any donations that will go towards the memorial service.
