Thank you Chris for everything you've done for me and my family. I hope you know how much you will be missed. Arianna still carries around Abbey the police dog, wherever she goes. God Speed brother.

As a Long Beach CERT volunteer, I had the privilege of working with Officer Chris Zamora at the Covid-19 mass vaccination site at the Long Beach Convention Center. Officer Zamora gave a daily morning briefing and provided us all a safe working environment. We sometimes processed over 3,000 patients in a day. Some days were more than twelve hours long. Officer Zamora was one of the first to arrive and the last to leave. I’m sure the tens of thousands of people that got vaccinated at this location are grateful for Officer Zamora’s service during these challenging times. What always got me about Officer Zamora, was how personable he was and that he genuinely cared about all of us volunteers. He would check-in with us to see if we needed water, food, or a break. There was always an air of focused professionalism coupled with an approachable friendly demeanor. We would hear his name called on the radio throughout the day to respond to various issues and it was great knowing he was there when we need him. We are all flawed. We seek in our life time to evolve both intellectually and spiritually. Others we meet along our life’s journey inspire and educate by example. Officer Chris Zamora was such an individual. I can say personally I am better off from meeting him. Chris, see you on the mountain top!
