Caroline Marie Wright

Caroline, daughter of Rita Giallella and Joseph Mancino, was born in Buffalo in 1928. She was the eldest of 3 along with her 2 other siblings, Theresa Mancino and the late Carl Mancino. She married the love of her life, Grover Mitchell Wright, and the couple shared 70 wonderful years together. They raised 5 beautiful children and were also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Caroline had a knack for cooking and baking so when it came to helping-out in Grover’s restaurants, it was known she was “the boss.” She expanded that love for baking with her daughter Cindy, who not only learned from the best but had many fond memories of the two of them baking together. Caroline enjoyed being in the garden even at a very young age. She had an array of roses, tulips, and daffodils. Gorgeous colors of pink and purple, she was known to be the master of hydrangeas. From these beautiful colors, Caroline’s favorite was remembered as rosy pink or fuchsia. She and Grover became snowbirds for 20 years, spending winters in the Florida sunshine. she made many friends and enjoyed yoga and playing bocce ball. Additionally, Caroline could be found playing bingo, spending time at casinos, and listening to her favorite music especially Glen Miller, Swing, and Big Band.   Wright, Caroline M. “Carol” January 11, 2020 of Hamburg, NY.
