Carol, 67 of Akron Ohio gained her angel wings on Friday May 13,2022. A long time resident in the highland square area, she loved sitting on her front porch and enjoyed day drinking Busch beer and smoking her cigarettes in silence or listening to her favorite music. (Mom was a bad ass at heart )
Carol is survived by her loving husband Michael Slayko Sr., her children Michael Slayko Jr. and Jennifer (Nicholas) Dozanti, and her two grandchildren Connor and Addison Dozanti. Carol also had many adopted children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She shared a passion of music with her husband Mike and they had 47 wonderful years together listening to the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Rod Stewart (dad was not a fan of Rod) to name a few. Carol has been cremated and she will return home with her family.

We just heard about Carol's passing today. So sorry for your loss. She was a sweet person and a wonderful friend. Glad she had her beautiful family to surround her with love. We will always remember the good times we had together.
