Carmen Escobar

Carmen Escobar a resident of Española passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2005. She was born in Pojoaque, New Mexico on August 16, 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Salazar; step-daughter, Eva Ahlborn; half sisters and brother: Theresa Valdez, Libradita Roybal and Ben Roybal. She is survived by her son, David Salazar and wife Karen of Santa Fe; sister, Delia Trujillo of El Rancho; half sisters: Orlinda Gallegos and Lita Garcia. step-sons and daughter: Ross Salazar and wife Connie of San Francisco, Regino Salazar of Española, Frances Guillen and husband Elmer of Española and Dennis Salazar and companion Angie; grandchildren: Michelle Brooks and husband Alex of Las Angeles, CA, Bianca Salazar of Olympia, WA; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery in Española.
