September 28th, 1942 - July 10th, 2021
Bob's love for his family, friends, life, wine, and travel was unparalleled. His diabetes didn't hold him back, in fact it may be one reason why he lived life and his candor when speaking came from the heart. Bob knew each day was a gift. His family was the most important part of his life, his legacy.
Bob was raised in St Louis and attended Horton Watkins High School where he received the Distinguished Award. He graduated from the University of Missouri. He served in the army reserves as a medic. His grandpa Vic nicknamed him Axle. He loved fast cars, fishing, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Bob was considered to be a pioneer of the TV syndication business and has touched the careers of numerous executives throughout his time in the business. Ultimately chose to retire in the early 2000s, while maintaining a media consulting business.
He is survived by his wife Judie, two sons Chris and Brian from a previous marriage, his brothers David and Steve and their sister Ginny, his step children Justin Marks and Taylor Marks, as well as 7 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Bob Jacquemin was and always will be a Prince among Princes. He was my boss, mentor and most significantly, my friend. From the moment I walked into his office at Disney there was an immediate connection... that would last 32 years. Bob brought out the best in me, as he did with everyone. His enthusiasm was infectious. His zest for life was insipiring, especially as he dared to stare diabetes in the eye. His love for family and his beloved Judie was heaven sent. We were all blessed to have known and eternally love Bob. I have so many wonderful memories and stories about Bob, but I'd like to share this one...which I have carried throughout life with me and have passed along to others. While I was going through a particularly difficult time in my life, Bob called me "every evening" and asked me two questions... 1. What did you do today for "yourself" (he knew it was easy for me to be kind and helpful to others but difficult for me to be kind to myself) and... 2. What happened today that was "good in your life". Knowing Bob would call me every evening and never wanting to disappoint Bob, I made sure I was prepared to reply to his two daily questions. One day I struggled to find something that was "good" about the day. I confessed this to Bob and he said ... "Well, as long as nothing bad happened today, then the absence of bad is good in and of itself". Bob, I will carry you in and close to my heart for all eternity. Thank you for the blessing of having been your friend. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Bob was the best! As my boss at Disney he was a true mentor and always creative and looking at things from new angles . A true innovator . He has a centered calming integrity in a crazy business. I had just run into he and Judie at Santa Claus Lane in Carpenteria a few months back . So glad I did. A class act and one of the good guys! He will be missed.
