My heart goes out to your family. I never had the privilege of meeting him, yet I thank God for your dads life. Going through loss is never easy. This scripture says in Philippians 2:27 (KJV) For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. People may overlook the sorrow Paul would of had if Epaphroditus had passed. It could have been easy to focus only on the physical suffering. Yet we know losing someone dear to us can often be more painful for the ones who are still here after rather than the one passed on. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. Yet I thank God that when we have to let our loved ones go be with the Lord, it’s only for a season, that we may receive God and all the saints forever. I pray God will comfort your hearts with His peace and all those affected by this loss.
