To loss someone as fun and caring as Mr. Caruana is really a hard blow for all that knew him. But the Bible teaches that there is a wonderful hope for those who have died right here on earth. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection. Imagine seeing Mr. Caruana once again laghing, talking and playing his bass again. That hope will soon come true. I was so disheartening to learn about the passing of Adam. I did not know him well, but I remember him from high school. He was popular, good looking and had such a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with. What a beautiful person; God bless; love and prayers.

It's difficult to encapsulate the impact Adam had on my life in such a short amount of time. Though I was only at CQ for a year, his influence will undoubtedly remain. Adam for me, and in this instance I'm sure I speak for many that knew him, was an impactful leader, an effective advocate, an inspiring mentor and most importantly, a true friend. When I lost my father, Mr. C was always there as someone to go to during difficult days. His office was a refuge of sorts. It was a place where we'd talk, reflect or at times, just sit, as it was a soothing and calming environment, due mainly in part to Adam's presence. In many ways, he filled the role of a father figure at a time where I needed it the most. I am forever grateful to have known Adam and his infectious spirit. He will be surely missed, but I can find solace in knowing that he is at peace. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

I am really saddened to hear this news of your passing, mate. Adam! A really solid and awesome guy! You were there for the support of us all - as colleague and as friend. I knew you for a short 2 school years. I think of you as a brother from the beginning until the end of my tenure. Particularly at the end, when I was leaving, when I was hospitalised and through the crazy times in Chongqing. You were one of my trusted go-to people and you always made time and space to accommodate and offer support. Your smile was genuine, uplifting and appreciated. You played a mean bass up on stage! Holding the musical platform for other musicians to ride. Your door was always open, man - And you could be depended upon. Thank you! You were there when they came to my apartment to check on me before I went into hospital and you said - "Dude, whenever you need help or someone to talk to, just come and see me”. I was really grateful for that. You meant it. And I did. And how you could manage and drive the kids in only the cool way Adam knew how - with a style just all your own and you could move into presenting to adults just as smoothly. I admired that about you. I would feel relief when it was your turn to give any Staff PD presentations because you had this way to turn the mundane info into something that little bit more bearable to endure, with your humour and great wit. Your cooking tips shared in passing in the staffroom and on WeChat. I never did get that Tuna/Onion/Yoghurt recipe that you brought to school and offered to share with me at times and kept in the staffroom fridge. "Help yourself”. And I did. It was tasty and healthy. Thank you. In the 2, short, school years I knew you, you touched my life and positively affected me, the students, the parents and the wider community. My sincerest condolences to your family. I share in your sadness! God bless you, Adam [“they will rest from their labor, and their deeds will follow them”]

As a student, it is very hard to deal with the passing away of Mr.C. He was a great teacher, coach, mentor, and friend. He would always check to see if you were okay before you could ask him if he was okay. His presence made a great impact on me and others around him. Every smile that he had on his face was like an infectious flue because it made others instantly smile. Mr.C was a great listener and a good role model. His actions created a legacy and it will forever be remembered. He made the people around him become better people. Therefore, I'm very grateful /blessed to have met Mr.C. His positivity has given us the courage to be positive in rough times. It's very upsetting that he is no longer with us on earth, but I know that he will always be with us spiritually. I know that he is watching over us, with a great big smile. May God bless and watch over his family during this time. Rest in Peace Mr. C
