Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On October 02, 2020, Ada Mae Boelter rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings.

Ada Mae Boelter, 84, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on 02 October 2020. She was born to parents Frank Harms and Emma Harms, on 25 May 1936 in Holyoke, Colorado.

She enjoyed Family, Friends, Church, Crafts, Beading, Gardening, Drawing. Her hands were rarely still.

Though Ada’s health was failing for years, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through.

Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 ---“And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Ada met Bruce Leroy Boelter in 1957. They were married in 1958 in Steamboat Springs CO. Together they raised 3 children: Lorinda J Townsend, Craig Boelter, Todd Boelter.

Ada is survived by her Sister Wilma Stroh (Walter) Daughter Lorinda Townsend (Ray Townsend), Son Craig Boelter (Debbie Kluge), Son Todd Boelter (Michelle Boelter). Stepson Rusty Layton (Krista Layton) Stepdaughter Jeannie Layton-Miller (Bruce Miller)

Grandchildren Stella Childers, Kristal Goodwin, Brittany Rozman, Toby Kaylor, Stephen Boelter, Jamie Ellis, Matthew Townsend, Jamie Townsend

Great Grandchildren Emma Morrison, Ian Morrison, Noah Boelter, Jasmine Rozman, Carly Goodwin, Nathan Goodwin, Hailey Franco, Antonio Franco

She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Leroy Boelter and Granddaughter Tiffany Boelter, Stepdaughter Becky Layton

Due to COVID, we will have a virtual Memorial within the next 4 weeks. Next year (2021) in the Fall we will lay Mom & Dad to rest at the Hahns Peak Cemetery. If you want to attend either or both events send Lorinda a note (ljkrgt@msn.com) I will keep you posted

Ada made an indelible impression on my heart and soul. While we had only a few months together, it was so meaningful. Her live of nature, interest in so many things, kindness, and quick wit were wonderful to be around. Such a blessing ! I cherish our time together and hope she is free as a bird!
