Loved Ones

Abner Dungca Cariaga was an active member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Chruch of Christ) and was laid to rest on Wednesday April 22, 2020. Born on January 29, 1948 and married Lorencia Maglalang Cariaga on September 4, 1976. He was survived by his loving wife and children: his son Gerald with wife, Lutchie, his daughter Katherine with husband, Ryan, his daugher Ginger Ale, his son Lester Carlo and his daughter Elayne Mae. He also has four wonderful grandchildren: Samantha, Sophia, Joaquin and Isabel.

Abner moved from the Philippines to New Jersey in the late 70's to support his growing family. He was able to balance raising a family, working hard and being active in his church duties. Abner was generous, kind, humble, selfless and beloved by the brethren in the congregation. He is fondly remembered as someone you could count on, always willing to help family and friends alike, at any time of the day, all with a smile on his face. He is described by many as a “caring and kindhearted man". Abner finished his race strong and he will be missed.

Ka Abner finished a very good race. He will be surely missed specially by the families of the ministers here in the District of New Jersey. His one of those that tirelessly helped us whenever and whatever he could offer. A very dedicated officer in the Church. We will miss the taste of his espresso coffee. Our prayers are with the bereaved family.
