Rudy Romero

“El Viejito”, Octaviano Rudy Romero. 71, passed into the hands of the Lord on December 19, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother, and father, Nepomosena Mondragon Romero and Octaviano Romero, brother, Ernie, sister, Berlinda, grandson, Gabriel Jr., great-grandson, Joseph and 3 tiny angels. He leaves behind his wife, Betty, daughter, Christine (Jesus), sons, Gabriel, Adam (Margo) and Carlos, brothers, Joe, Frank (Grace), Manuel (Joyce), Elmer (Debbie), sisters, Geri, Lucy (Sito), Rose, Virginia (Merlin) and Tammy. Rudy was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother in-law, Catarino, other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Questa, with interment to follow at the El Pueblito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Virgil Gomez, Henry Rosas, Leroy Romero, Phillip Segura, Miguel Ortiz, Chris Montoya, Lino Trujillo and Adam Romero. Honorary Pallbearers are: Berna Trujillo, Rico Vigil, Freddy Cisneros, George Montoya, Gabriel Romero, Carlos Romero, Luis Calzadillas, Daniel Calzadillas, Jesus Calzadillas, Cordero Montoya and Julio Aguilar.
