PATRICK FEEHAN [1968-2022] Patrick Feehan passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2022 after touching the world with his kindness, love, and humor. Pat was a dedicated and treasured father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Pat was completely devoted to his beloved children, Will and Caroline, frequently coaching their sports teams, volunteering in support of their schools, and even serving as Founding Board Member and Board Chair for the Franklin School of Innovation, in Asheville, NC. He was active and loved to be outdoors in any setting: a Sunset Lane surfer from a young age, a marathoner for many years as an adult, and more recently enjoyed hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. He was also naturally social and connected to a large community of friends and family who benefited from his impressive chef skills and heartfelt care and concern.
Over the course of his career, Pat spent over 30 years as a highly respected HR and executive search leader for some of the largest and most successful brands in the world, using his ability to understand people and connect them with the right opportunities to change their lives for the better. Pat earned his Master’s in Sports Management at East Stroudsburg University where he served as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and his BA in English and History at Spring Hill College.
He is survived by Will and Caroline; his Mother Theresa Feehan and predeceased by his Father Francis “Skip” Feehan. He is also survived by his siblings Bridget Diorio, Bill Feehan (Liz), Michelle Smith (Thomas), Kevin Feehan (Allison), and Chris Feehan; his dear friend, Will and Caroline’s Mother Beth Baldino; and an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. Pat lived his life loving others and looking out for their welfare.
Our angel on earth is now an angel in Heaven. We love you, Pat. Thank you and thank God, for you.
Please join us as we celebrate the life of Patrick Feehan on Sunday, October 9th, 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the Bay Head Yacht Club. Please no jeans.

Pat was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, or his bed to sleep in, which was the case when John and I visited him in Asheville one year. Pat was instantly loved by everyone he met, devoted to his children, an amazing cook, a great dry humor, the kind of guy who just makes you happy because you’re in the same room with him. He was a very special person, and we will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Pat. Ashleigh & John Santamaria

My heart is broken to hear this. Pat coached me in basketball at ESU. I haven't seen Pat in years but we did keep in touch periodically as we share the same profession of Executive Recruiter. A reliable friend that was always willing to help. We lost a good man, an angel walking among us.
Pat I love you bro. Rest in Peace.

As a professor who has taught Pat’s son, Will, I can attest that Pat passed on his wonderful traits to his son. I’m sorry I never met Pat but am grateful for the good he gave the world and the legacy he leaves through his children. My prayers and wishes for peace go out to his family.

Pat “Gizmo” was a Senior in my fraternity (Sigma Chi) when I went to Spring Hill College. And I will always remember his humor, and his openness to welcome us newbies to the fraternity. And a few years ago we connected again in the Northeast and it brought us instantly back to great memories from SHC. He will be missed in this world but I know he is with the angels. God bless Pat.

I am one of many here in Asheville that was lucky enough to have known Pat. I will so miss our winding conversations about educating our kids, sports, politics, religion, and how to live a meaningful life. He was so proud of Will and Caroline. We will miss you, my good friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I ran many miles with him in Princeton to train for the NYC marathon in 2009. He calmed my nerves in the starting corral. He was a joy to be around and a great running friend. He will be missed.
