Levi J Valdez, P.E.March 27, 1943 - January 12, 2022 Born in Canjilon New Mexico to Maria and Porfirio Valdez.Levi J Valdez, passed to a better life at Christus Saint Vincent Hospital, surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Wednesday January 12, at 4:00 p.m.He was preceded in death by his parents, younger brother Manuel Valdez and his older brother Porfirio Fabian Valdez.He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Isabel “Chavela” Valdez, children: Jason Carlos Valdez, 54 and wife Ann Lynn Valdez, son Daniel Levi Valdez, 47, daughter Angela Cristina Romero, 50 and son-in-law Carlos Romero.Levi is blessed with seven grandchildren Michael Carlos Valdez, 21, twin granddaughters, Kathy Ann Valdez and Katie Beth Valdez, 19, Vincente Amadeo Valdez, 14, Marie Valentina Valdez, 13, James Levi Valdez, 12 and Alessandra Librada Romero, 10. Levi is also survived by a niece Tanya Valdez Topete, nephew Manuel Fabian Valdez, from California. He has a surviving younger brother, Nelson Valdez and lifelong best friend Freddie Aragon. Levi called Jacona, NM home.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 2:00pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Reception will be held at Knights of Columbus to be announced.
