Forever in our hearts.
Jerome Bruno, 54 passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 in his home in Selma, Alabama.
Jerome (and his twin Tyrone) was born in Tuskegee, Alabama to Essie Mae Walker and Frank Bruno, on February 13th, 1966.
At the age of 10, his mom along with three of his siblings moved to Youngstown Ohio, where he meet his now wife Debbi Bruno during high school. Jerome and Debbi married July 13, 1985, and about a year later they graduated high school together. Shortly after becoming a certified truck driver, he started driving buses for Warren city schools.
Jerome had a private passion for cooking which probably led him into his managerial roles at Ponderosa, in Niles Ohio and at K.F.C, in Buffalo NY. That passion allowed him to be enthusiastic in sharing his cooking with his family and friends, whether it was sharing what he made or teaching them to make their own.
Jerome is survived by his wife Deborah Hargrave-Bruno, some of children as follows : Constance Mignon-Hicks Bruno, Frances Moreland , Jasmin Bruno, Jessica Bruno, Jalisa Davis, Javon Bruno, Daquan Davis, along with bunch of grandkids; his mother, Essie Walker (Larry); some of his siblings: Tyrone Bruno (his identical twin), Angela Bruno Miller Chaney, Sonja Nelson, Lannie Thomas; a number of brothers and sisters from his father’s side; as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his daughter Amber Mosko, his son Dante, and his father Frank Bruno.
