Bill & Charlotte Paull were my Land Lord and Land Lady when I lived in one of their apartments above a furniture store on the Winterset town square in the late 70's. I was working for four Roman Catholic parishes in the area and the Paulls had never had much contact with Nuns. We established a wonderful friendship that lasted many years after I left the territory. Periodically, I did return for a visit and Charlotte and I talked on the phone now and then. I am ashamed to say that I have not made a contact for several years and did not know that Charlotte had died in 2012. When I last visited, she was in poor health and I never did see her obituary in the Des Moines Register. I look forward to meeting both of them in Heaven when we can renew our friendship and chat about those good times we shared in Winterset. To the family of Bill Paull I offer my sympathy and promise of prayers for all of you as you mourn your father's death. Bill and Charlotte Paulle were my landlord and landlady when I lived in one of their apartments above a furniture store on the Square in downtown Winterset in the late 70's. I was working in four Roman Catholic Parishes in the area and as a Nun was a new entity to Bill and Charlotte who were members of a church of another faith tradition in the area. We became good friends and continued to communicate for a while after I left the area. I talked with Charlotte on the phone and visited them on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately, it has been while since I was in Winterset and Charlotte was not in good health at the time. I did not see her obituary in the Des Moines Register in 2012 or I would have set my sympathy to Bill and family. At this time I offer my sympathy and prayers to the family as you mourn Bill's death. I look forward to meeting Bill and Charlotte in heaven where we can continue a wonderful friendship established on this earth.
