On Sunday, August 7, 2022, David S. Myrick passed away in Greensboro, North Carolina. David was born in Auburn, NY and spent most of his childhood in Syracuse, New York. David was a dedicated student of the Purple Dragon Karate Dojo and earned his black belt at the age of 16. After he graduated from Cicero North Syracuse High School, David earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from SUNY Plattsburg and studied abroad at the Polytechnic of North London.
David went on to hold management roles with many Fortune 500 companies. His career highlights included earning the Leadership Through Quality Award during his time at Xerox as well as being promoted to Senior Operations Manager at Capitol One. He then went on to work in sales with various insurance companies, where he demonstrated a true knack for connecting with others. David was an avid traveler, enjoying trips throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia, with his favorite destination being Prague in the Czech Republic. His favorite past-times were golfing with his friends and family and supporting his favorite sports team the New York Giants.
Above all, David will be remembered for his genuine passion for speaking with people, detailed storytelling, and the lifelong friendships he cultivated. David is survived by 3 nieces, a great nephew, an aunt, 2 uncles, and many cousins.

So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a great guy to work with at Xerox in Stamford, Ct. He was fun to be around and always laughed easily. Wish we’d stayed in touch over the years. Condolences to his family. Rest in peace Dave!
