Every time Ben would visit, we would play Joke Rummy . He loved it even if he would never win !!! He would put his music on and sing with such passion when it was Rewrite the stars from the movie «  The Greatest Showman « . He made me watch it. For me that song will always be Ben . I also remember a great night when Ben, my son Alex and I stayed in the pool all night taking . I have so many wonderful memories with him.
He was a wonderful person and we miss him so much . Thoughts and prayers to the March family

Paul March published a tribute .

A loving message from dad
My dearest Benjamin,
Never did I ever imagine I would have to sit down and write a goodbye message to you; children are supposed to bury their parents, not the other way around.
But I don’t want to dwell on your passing, I want to celebrate your living.
Your family and friends were honored to have you a part of their lives for almost 19 years; those years were full of great memories and love. Through all those years, your beautiful soul and happy demeanor shone through for all to see.
Seeing how many people have reached out since you passed is a testament to how you impacted their lives and how much people thought of you; we just wish you had been able to take a step back when you were hurting and see how much people cared. Your great friend Cam is here to carry you on your final journey.
We have received so many pictures and memories on your myKeeper site, from your school friends and those in your firefighting program. I remember you calling one day to tell me you were first dressed in your bunker gear competition, and how pleased you were. How you would call daily to see if your ‘G’ license was in as you wanted to get ready for your D-Z license so you could drive the firetrucks. Ben, it arrived on Monday, and if you feel under your hands, I placed it in your coffin. I think about how much you loved your roommates Andre and Ben, you three were like brothers. I think about how you went to visit your twin sister at Brock, but told her you had to rush back early Sunday as you and Ben were volunteering the toy drive. I can’t tell you how many times I called you on the weekends and you would text back to say you were at the toy drive…you loved helping out there. I recall the calls when you were so excited about what you learned that day. To hear how much your captains thought of you and how they have canceled classes so your platoon and classmates can all attend your service remotely is another testament to you. We buried you in your uniform because we know how proud you were to be part of that program. Your roommate, platoon-mate Ben is here to carry you on your final journey.
Benjamin, I think back to the hours we spent together when I coached you in hockey; we have so many beautiful memories from those years; the trips to tournaments, the mini-stick games throughout the hotel, trying to wake you for 6 a.m. practices….I treasure those. My best hockey memory is getting you all dressed up in Kyle’s old hockey gear when you were 4 and taking you the parent/ tot skates. You would zip around and then fall asleep in your booster chair in the car and I would carry you in and lay you on the couch fully dressed in that gear. And look today at how many of your former teammates and their families are honoring you today either in person or remotely. Coach Joe is here to carry you on your final journey.
I fondly cherish the countless hours we spent in the car traveling to wrestling practices, camps, competitions, and weekend clinics. I laugh when I think how I would only take cut veggies for lunch just like you when you were cutting weight so we could go through that together, and how we would run hills at Sunnidale Park together, even though I could never keep up. I laugh at how Coach Farid would tell you, you were going on a 10 km run, but didn’t tell you that was only the halfway point. I remember how excited and proud you were to compete in Poland and Mexico. I think about hugging you when you lost a match and celebrating with you when you won; the group hugs of joy from all of your Mariposa family after a big win…there is no other sport in the world that people of all races, religions, backgrounds, all act like family to one another…I am thankful we had that opportunity to be a part of that family and we will always be so. Don’t tell coach Bob, but you are wearing a Mariposa singlet in your coffin as we wanted to honor that part of your life. Ben, you can see by the outpouring of emotion from your wrestling family, how much they loved you. Your favorite coaches, Coach Bob and Coach Farid are here to carry you on your final journey.
As a twin, you and Jessica shared a beautiful bond that few can know. I remember carrying the two of you in your baby carriers to church when you were just born and every week, the priest asked if my arms were longer. Seeing the vast number of pictures of the two of you together as you grew up brings back so many memories. The fact that the two of you grew even closer as adults is even more heart-warming.
Benjamin, you know how much Kyle loved you too. I remember him coming with us to shinny and public skating and him standing there waiting to show you how to do a skill. I remember the two of you out on our backyard rink together getting frost-bitten toes. He always looked out for you and you were so blessed to have such a loving older brother. Your loving brother Kyle is here to carry you on your final journey.
You know how much your family loved you which is why this is so hard for all of us to accept that we won’t be able to see you succeed as a firefighter, get married, have children, all the things you wanted in your future. There are no words to describe how much your mom, Kyle, and Jess adored you and our pain is that we know what an incredible future and life journey you had in front of you.
My dearest Ben, I could go on forever with all my memories of you, but I won’t; I am going to come to visit you at the cemetery regularly, sit down with you and we will share those memories just you and I.
You will forever be a part of us, of me…..I could not be more proud of the man you became, and I hope you are looking down and smiling, feeling the outpouring of love from so many.
Ben, I will love you forever,

Dad

The Toronto Firefighters Toy Drive is so grateful for all of Ben's hardwork and commitment. I spent many hours with Ben on those weekends and grew to love him and his shining light. We have made a donation in Ben's name to the Child and Youth Mental Health clinic that you mentioned, in lieu of flowers.
Ben meant the world to us and we will keep you updated on how we will honor his memory for this year's season.

Never did I think I would have to write something like this…

I met Ben and Jess when I was 15 through rowing and school. Ever since the first day we met, we became amazing friends. We had countless movie nights/sleepovers and adventures. Ben always had these spiderman sheets, which happens to be one of my favourite superheroes! Then in the morning we always had our favourite breakfast, Leaping Lemurs (Ben loved these). I moved across the country to Alberta and still think of Ben when I see a box of leaping lemurs on the shelf.

Ben was an incredible person. He always put your needs before his own, he found the positive in everything and had the biggest contagious smile. I will cherish all our memories and our friendship forever! Ben, you were a very special person to me and I will miss and love you forever.

To Jess, Kyle, and Mr.& Mrs. March: your family and Ben are in my thoughts and prayers and my heart goes out to you all.

Love,
Julia Thompson

I am blessed to have known all 3 March kids through wrestling at Nouvelle-Alliance. I am so very sad to hear of Ben’s passing. He was such a happy enthusiastic boy with a tremendous amount of contagious energy. Every chance he got, he came out of class for either a weigh in, to see who his competitors were for the next tournament, what time we were leaving or just to make sure we were having practice that night. So happy to hear he continued his passion for wrestling through the Mariposa family! I will forever remember his smiling freckled face that brightened up a room as he entered. You will be sadly missed by so many Ben!
I hope you’re still wrestling up in heaven!

Ben was one of the first kids that Liam wrestled. The moment I looked at him, I could just tell what a kind kid he was - even before talking to him. He was so sportsman-like and supportive to my son who at the time was brand new to wrestling. After the match, I left the gym, and Ben came after me - and made a special point of telling me that "your son is a good wrestler." I was so touched by this gesture - and the more I spoke with him over the years, I knew my first impression was spot on. Liam was very lucky to have had him as a team mate and friend. There aren't enough words to even begin to describe how wonderful of a person Ben was. I think back to all of the years I had the honour of being friends with him, and he had, without a doubt, one of the biggest hearts of any individual that I know. Whether it was competing on a team together, or working on school projects, Ben knew how to make the best out of every situation. He had a wonderful gift of being able to light up the room and bring up others' spirits through his laugh. He was a talented, hardworking, genuine, kind individual, with the biggest heart of gold. Ben was a great friend, and overall just an amazing person. I will forever cherish our friendship, and will miss you dearly Ben. Heaven has gained an angel. Rest In Peace my friend.

Our family got to know Ben through rowing. Ben,Jessica and Ceilidh developed a bond during that time, which remained all through high school and is still there through their new adventures. I’m sure whenever Jessica and Ceilidh are on the water in their rowing shells, when they see that first streak of sun, they will know it’s Ben’s bright smile guiding them and letting them know that he is ok.

Ben and I played on an amazing and very successful AA hockey team growing up. With his father Paul coaching us we developed together and grew up together. I remember going to his house before or after practice playing mini sticks with him and Kyle. For about 5-6 years me and Ben spent almost everyday together, whether it was in the rink for hockey, on the soccer field or at each other's homes we were very rarely not together. Ben will forever always be remembered for how he was always able to shine the light in a room, how he was always able to put a smile on peoples faces and most importantly how great of a teammate, friend and son he was. One moment I'll forever hold deeply with Ben was the time he took me to reball at the Barrie Sports Dome and we were there for hours just enjoying the games and laughing about how bad I was at reball. To Kyle, Jessica, Paul, Tess and Ben's extended family I want to offer my heartfelt condolences and may all of you find peace during these difficult times.

The day I seen Ben was at the beginning of my wrestling journey, Ben was a young man who instantly brought light and joy to any room he was in. I remember seeing him and I seen a look of a young guy who had a drive for this sport. My first interaction with Ben was at a BTS camp, one of my close friend Dip Lad and my wrestling coach B. Sanchez introduced me to Ben and his father. I found Ben to be a funny, genuine and kindhearted guy. He was always smiling and always trying to make others smile too it was like his job to bring joy to his peers. When I met his dad he was a man who would put anything and everything he got to make his son the happiest he can be. His father and my wrestling coach had a close bond that brought our friendships stronger. His dad is a caring and outgoing mad that not only looks after his kids but also tries to help out other athletes and make sure they have positive minds too. Ben would come to every BTS camp and every time I seen him I could tell that he was so grateful to be in a sport that he cared about and around people that shows him love and respect. Throughout the time of knowing Ben he introduced me to some wrestler that I could also call family too. Their names were Liam Warboys, Logan Arsenault and Sam Cordery. These three individuals I realized played a big role in Ben’s life and I could see how much he loved and cared for them. Just from getting to Know Liam and Logan I know they will carry on Ben’s wrestling Legacy and bring home lots of Hardware and accomplishments for their brother. Ben you were like a younger brother to me I had the upmost respect for you as a person and I wish you didn’t leave us so early. But I know your flying high with the angels looking down on us with a great big smile. Love and miss you loads... I wish I had one chance to hear you laugh and see you smile on those mats ❤️

I first met Ben in September of this year at Centennial College. Ben March was the kind of person that was always willing to help and he helped me and my classmates many times during training, Ben was always enthusiastic and made our group better. I will always remember the competitions our program held at the end of class where Ben and I carried the tallest member of our platoon while the instructors yelled: “no running”. We worked closely together and became a team. I will miss and remember you, my condolences to the March family and everyone who shared a relationship with Ben March.

I remember in Major Atom AA at a hotel during a hockey tournament on a Friday or Saturday night just hanging out with the team. Ben had these Carpet skates and was just cruising around the hallway on these carpet skates. He let everyone on the team take a turn on these skates because that was the type of kid Ben was. I will always remember playing hockey with Ben, he always showed up to the rink in a good mood with a smile that would brighten your day when you walked in the dressing room. Coach Paul and the March family my prayers are with you guys in this tough time.

Ben was an outgoing, unique and dedicated teammate and friend. He was someone you could go years without seeing, and reconnect with like a day hadn’t passed. I can still recall how genuine and personable he was the last time I spoke with him, even after years apart. Ben’s smile was big enough to make up for 10 frowns and will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know and be a teammate to him.

Rest In Peace Marchy.

Dear Tess, Paul, Kyle & Jessica,
I remember when we first moved to Barrie, the kids became good friends and spent a lot of time together. There was a lot of back and forth from our home to yours, sleepovers and swimming pool time! Lots of conversations where had with Paul waiting at the bus stop for them to come home after school. I found this picture of Jessica, Kayla, Ben and Brooke. I still remember it clear as day. It was taken at our house at 24 Laurie Crescent. They grew apart and went there separate ways after primary school, but there were so many great memories made.
I can't seem to find the words of what to say... my heart goes out to all of you. Ben will always be with you in your hearts and memories. How can we forget that wonderful smile. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and in my prayers.
My sincere condolences go out to all of you, Paul, Tess, Kyle and Jessica.

Hey dude,

I'm writing to you directly, since I know a soul like yours wouldn't have it any other way.
Thank you bro, for being you, no matter what came your way. Teaching you was a pleasure, to have known and shared great hockey, class, joking, playing sports, laughing about movies (ace Ventura), you name it, .. was an absolute honor. You truly taught me so much more than you knew about being a great teacher, and for that I am forever grateful. No matter the day, the time, you found a way to arrive smiling and leave with everyone smiling with you. I know you've done the same again, when we think of you, we have to smile.

I know that you'll find some others to guide, like I already said, you wouldn't have it any other way. You'll always be in my heart dude, chitty chitty bang bang ;).
Godspeed Ben, love always.

My sincerest condolences to you Paul, Tess, Kyle and Jessica. May you find some peace knowing he infected the world with his love and wonderful smile.

For the years that I knew Ben, he made an impact on my life that I will carry with me forever. He was someone who I could always depend on to have a smile on his face, and keep a positive attitude.
I had the fortunate pleasure of travelling with Ben to Poland, for a two week wrestling trip, where we were able to connect and spend so much time together. Trips like that are the ones where you learn to appreciate those who are there with you. Ben made us all laugh, like he always does , and allowed for awesome memories , that I will keep with me forever.
I met Ben when I was young, and growing up with him made me so lucky. We had the opportunity to connect, and go through life together as wrestlers. He was always at every practice , and tournament, there to support his teammates, like a good wrestler does. Ben always gave 110%, and we could always count on him to be a good partner. He impacted so many of our lives. Especially mine.
Ben will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family, and everyone missing him.

I remember when we were in Mexico for wrestling and he made fun of me for not speaking the best Spanish and told me that he could probably get us around Mexico better then me from learning Spanish from Dora the explorer. He was always goofy, he would make fun of me for being short. My best memory was when we were in Sudbury for winter games qualifiers and I had a little bit of crackers left and he tried to steal them, we wrestled for the box, he won, took my crackers away and ate them all. I had the privilege of being on the coaching staff of Benjamin’s hockey teams for many years. Those years are brightly colored with so many fond memories of interactions with Benjamin both within the game of hockey and our intertwined lives surrounding the game.

Reading the comments from others here, I couldn’t agree more with the notes re: the happy, supportive, positive disposition of Benjamin; he did almost always have a smile on his face and was so uplifting to his teammates. But like all great athletes, Benjamin could also be serious, relentless, determined and focused; and I loved that balance about him. I have so many memories of that blend of admirable traits he brought to his teammates. He could be uber-competitive when he needed to be; and yet could be the light, fun-loving, bring-a smile-to-your-face Benjamin at other moments when he needed to be – whatever his team needed, be brought it. It was a wonderful mix.

I share this photo as I remember that day and a conversation with Ben. It is one of the “focused” times where, even though his team had just won a big tournament with he himself playing a key role, Benjamin was still in serious-mode. I remember asking him about it (absence of the Benjamin-smile) in the dressing room and he responded that "all was good; just reflecting back on the game and re-playing some of the moments"!
#16 will always be on our team. Benjamin you made an indelible, positive impact on so many; you will continue to do so.

Thank you for being the person you were brother. I will miss you always.

I had the privilege of being Ben's Coach for several years. I watched this young man grow and develop into an amazing and awesome young man. The many trips up and down the road with you and your Father are some of my favorite memories. Your grit and passion for our sport, our team, and the many lives you have touched along the way have not gone unnoticed.

Your sense of humor and kindness is highlighted in the comments on this page. At Mariposa, you were not only a Teammate, you were Family.

To Ben's Family, I offer my deepest condolences during these times. To his teammates and friends, always remember that smile that lit up the room and keep it in your heart.

Ben will be missed by many. In his short time here on Earth, he touched so many lives and made them better. Soar high above us now dear Angel. Thank you for the privilege.

My most recent memory of Ben was the brief encounter we had catching up at Drive Test when he graduated to his G license. When I saw him and greeted him it brought me back several years to when I first met Ben.
He was my daughter’s boyfriend in high school. It always made me chuckle to see how nervous I made him! Naturally I was Mama Bear, always keeping him on his toes to be his best to my daughter

His kind soul, smile from ear to ear, charismatic personality helped distract my daughter through some pretty difficult days in high school. For this I am thankful!
You left much too soon and my Mama bear heart is saddened by your passing. Please watch over all those that crossed your path and help those who are also hiding their dark days, because as a Mom, I know you are not alone!

To your family left behind, I hope you find comfort in all the stories and memories shared and know that your son -Ben had a positive impact on many who had the opportunity to cross paths.

Ben was a spectacular young man. He volunteered over 180 hours with the Toronto Firefighters Toy Drive this past season. He was a hard worker always eager to help and was an integral part (along with Ben D) of our success this year. Just last Sunday he was with us and we had an amazing time as always. He was a perfect student in my classes at the college as well. BEN, your beautiful light and infectious smile will continue to shine for ever and always. This crushing pain and disbelief that we all feel will eventually dissipate and allow us to hold your memories close to us with joy and love. The fire service would have been a better place with you in it, so I will carry your memory with me every time I step onto my fire truck. Sending all of my strength and love to Ben's family and friends.

Ben and I were the type of friends that annoyed each other all the time and any time . I remember meeting him for the first time in the cafeteria when we were all getting ready to leave for my first wrestling practice . He told us what to expect and acted like a mentor towards me that also loved to tease me when I’d mess up. Ben was this kind of guy that always knew what to do and what to expect and I admired that about him. Anytime he won a match he never bragged either. He was a good person and I am so sorry to the March family. My deepest condolences ❤️

Lucie And Tony Falcioni published a tribute .

There are no words to express the deep sadness and loss of Ben's passing that it brings to our family and to the general community.

Ben had a profound impact to all the lives he touched. He had great compassion, love, care for others and used his wonderful humor to bring a smile on everyone's face. He worked so hard at everything, even when he felt his performance was mediocre in sports or school, he pushed even harder. He truly made the best of every moment and always attempted to be the best version of himself.

Having met Zachary at elementary school, Ben was the very first to provide his friendship. Extending his arm with Alex Lefebvre to a young boy who was so uncertain. Ben was a mentor, an inspiration to our son Zachary which he returned the same treatment as kindred spirits. A friendship that grew over the years and never fell apart. A friendship so strong that they understood each other, cared for each other but most importantly believed in each other. A best friend that will always live in his heart, his memory. A loss that could never be forgotten. A memory that he will carry throughout his life. A best friend forever.

To the Falcioni family, Ben was like one of our own. We enjoyed every moment spent together, his visits, our family outings, hockey tournaments, golfing, dinners out, the countless jokes, the empty fridge as both Zach and Ben had an endless hole in their stomach, the wrestling in our home, the loud voices, the chuckling, simply everything...We hope our home gave Ben just as much joy as he brought to ours.

Tess, Paul, Jess, Kyle, may you find much peace during these challenging times. Please rest assured, we are here for you. The community is rallying to demonstrate the beautiful life Ben lived and its impact too many but also sending you much strength, love, support, courage and prayers. May you carry all his wonderful memories with you during these times of much sorrow.

With our most sincere love for Ben and his family,

Lucie and Tony Falcioni

Ben’s tragic death personally hit hard striking a cord due to my brother sharing the same fate back in 2019. I have only known Ben since the start of the 20-21 school year. I instructed Ben during his practical training days of Pre-Service Firefighting. Ben always had a smile on his face and was eager to learn. He picked up the skills easily and excelled at them. He was the fastest to dress in his bunker gear right from the start, and his classmates tried to knock him out of the top spot. Ben was the kind of student you loved to instruct. I would of had him on my crew in a heartbeat.

I knew Ben through the stories I was told by friends I had on the wrestling team back in 2019. Everyone was a big family on the team and they always had each other’s backs. Every adventure I was told, Ben was always the, goofy, comedic relief that always put a smile on everyone’s faces. Every story I was told, Ben was there. He helped out one of my best friends with her wrestling techniques, I remember her telling me that it meant so much to her that one of JOA best wrestlers was teaching her. Ben had such an impact on mine and other people’s lives that all they needed was a good story to feel the warmth that he shared. I’m truly heart broken and I give all my love to the March Family. Ben,

We used to be very very close for some time, but we drifted. I still saw you in the halls with your friends and was always happy to see your smile and see you happy.

You helped me through some of my toughest times and I wish we were still close where I could have been there for you.

I truly will miss you and the world lost an amazing person, but I hope you are at peace and no longer in pain.

To the March family,

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, words could not express how hard this must be. It is an awful time, but hopefully one day you can look back at all the happy memories you had with Ben and smile.

Jess,
Stay strong. I don’t know what I would do if I lost my twin brother. The pain would be unfathomable, but you have so many people here to support you through this. If you need any help, reach out PLEASE. There are so so many people here for you that care and love you. Ben you were smart, and kind, a pleasure to be around there are no words to express the potential you demonstrated. When I saw your light burning, I thought of how lucky the world was to have you in it - You are gone to soon.

I wish that I had known you were hurting. That the world was a dark consuming place for you. Too often those that shine bright, shine as such to mask the darkness they feel. I’m sorry I failed to see the darkness that was consuming you.

Your smile, your eagerness, will be forever etched in my mind. I will continue to be vigilant about talking about counseling resources and communicating to students that I’m a resource for help.

Ben, I’m so sad your young life is over, that you will not experience the many more amazing life events the world had planned for you.

To Ben’s parents, as mother to two sons my heart aches for you. We send our children into the world with trepidation and hope they will be ok, that we’ve given them what they need to survive, that they will cultivate what skills we haven’t been able to teach them. Having taught Ben, he was an excellent example of character, a beautiful soul, he was your baby, your dream, your love. May I extend my deepest sympathy, there is nothing more tragic than a life lost too soon, and he was your beautiful baby boy.

He never failed to make me laugh and always made my days better. I will miss him. I hope that he is at peace and that he knows just how much everyone, myself included, loved him. Rest easy Ben

Ben was an amazing human being. A man who gave it his all at everything he did. He always was the life to any party, the jokester of the group and an amazing friend. I’m truly heart broken to have lost him, he was like a brother to me and I would’ve done anything for him, no questions asked. He was one of the first friends I made at nouvelle and introduced me to the rest of the guys and even though I wasn’t from Frère, he treated me as if I was. I will always remember him for his smile and the impact he had in my life. I hope those above greet you with open arms and that you may watch over us all. I loved you Ben as much as a friend could, rest easy.

Ben and his family had a huge role in my life and the person I am today. It is an odd feeling I have in my stomach just thinking that he’s gone. All our memories were shared together through hockey where we had a dominant team for years. A few of those years we were defense partners. I haven’t seen Ben since civics and careers trip in grade 10 where he was in my class. I remember him wrestling with my friends and creating lots of laughter within our class. Rest In Peace Ben, from my mom, dad, sisters and I, you will be missed.

I am so grateful to have crossed paths with you Ben. I am so thankful to have spent so much time with him and for getting to know him on such a deep level. I will always cherish the memories we made together and all of the laughs and stories we shared. I regret not keeping in touch after I moved. I remember my first ever wrestling practice Ben making sure I felt comfortable and cracking so many jokes to make my experience the best possible. From then on we had so much fun going on adventures. My condolences are with the March family. Fly high Ben

I was lucky enough to witness Ben grow from a little grade 7 boy to his late high school years as a young man. He always had a smile on his face and wore his school on his chest with pride. We didn’t speak a lot but when we did it was always good energy from him. I was devastated when i heard about losing him, extending my utter most condolences to the March family.

From a fellow colts player & tornade, I keep you all in my prayers.

Rest easy Ben❤️

Ben and I were childhood best friends and had many great laughs and memories. It is hard to choose just one memory as he brought much joy into my life. If one thing is for sure, we loved playing mini-sticks as kids with our older brothers, Ben being the star netminder. For the most part, we would lose, and sometimes Ben would get so upset he would leave to go and play the piano upstairs. Passionate and fun-loving as always, he was always quick to return to the game. I miss the sound of you trying to play a song on that darn out-of-tune piano. Ben, I cherish the times we spent together. I hope you are looking down on us and seeing how much you were appreciated and loved. Sad to see you go so soon. We will miss you.

Dear Ben,

I am so sorry for turning my back on you after being friends. I have always felt bad for that, I should’ve helped you when I could’ve but I didn’t and just watched.
I do admire how we dropped our feelings and discussed everything in the end of grade 9 but that never made me satisfied with how our friend ship ended.
I’ve always wanted to say one thing; I am so thankful for you being my first friend from nouvelle and in the city.

P:S: I wasn’t the best to you especially during badminton(haha) but seriously I I’ve always felt bad for how I treated you and didn’t act as if we knew each other.

I love you. Fly so High <3

Ben was one of the first people I met in high school that I genuinely felt connected with. He was willing to help with anyone's problems, and constantly put a smile on my face. I feel so blessed to have gotten close with him. Even after periods of time where we didn't talk, we picked up where we left off and it's like not a day went by. He showed me what a true friend is. I hope to see him again someday. Rest easy, I love you man.

I had the privilege of playing hockey with Ben for many years, and I could not have asked for a better teammate. He was a hard worker on the ice, but even more importantly he was just a great person to be around. He always had a smile on his face, and I could always count on him to be there for me, and to talk to. Here is a photo of us and another teammate, Alex, out for dinner, having a great time, as was often the case when I was around him.

Ben and I always joked around about other hockey teams and how bad they were. He would always play high school music or frozen in the change room and would sing along word word. Ben and I would always give each other fist bumps when we scored a goal. He was the funnest, the kindest and would do anything for his friends, I wil always think you you Ben as #16 you were the best love you ❤️ Eric scot oro minor hockey midget1. Growing up I played hockey and went to school with Ben. He was always someone that I could count on to cheer me up when I was having a bad day. He was as kind, caring, and funny of a friend I could ask for. While Ben and I didn’t stay close when I moved out of Barrie, he was always someone I could strike up a conversation with at a moments notice without having felt like I missed a beat. I will forever cherish the many memories made at the rink and on the schoolyard together. Attached are some photos I found of us and fellow hockey teammate Joey at the rink. Rest easy Marchy ❤️
