Arnaldo ("Dando") Niosco Audal passed away peacefully on August 2, 2020, at the age of 71, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Arnaldo served as Captain in the Philippine Air Force and prior to retirement, taught at Verde Elementary School in Richmond, CA, for 14 years. He also attained a bachelor's and master's degrees.As a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Vallejo, he served in almost every ministry including Liturgy Coordinator, Lector, Marriage Preparation Minister, and many more.
He married Myrna in 1978, who predeceased him. He is survived by his sons, Juan Carlos, James Edward, and Joseph Patrick; daughter, Jennifer Ann; daughter-in-law, Jamie; grandson, Tyler; brothers, Isidro and Paterno; and aunt Fidela ("Fe") and uncle Cleto Lastrella.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 7. Funeral services and burial will be held Saturday, August 8. Due to COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of everyone, guests will be extremely limited. Visitation will be private. However, the funeral services and burial will be livestreamed.

I knew your father through Myrna and from the second I met him he was the kindest, most welcoming person. He always had on a big, big smile. Tito Nando,it was August last year when we first met. You approached me first that time, shook my hand and welcomed me warmly to the United States. I was deeply moved with your kind gesture and realized later on how nice it would be to get to know yo even more. Thank you for you meeting us few times when we were in Vallejo. I enjoyed our conversations and I am thankful for the stories and experiences you shared. As a new immigrant, you motivated me by expressing words of encouragement. I remember how you emphasized on gratefulness
,hard work and positive approach to life. You offered support stating that's what family does to each other. Just like how Lolo Cleto and Lola Fe, have done in the past when you were new immigrants too. It is impossible to forget you because those brief encounters were one of the best in my life.I am sure you have helped and encouraged many others in your life time. I know, that you are now in God's home, watching from above, caring and praying for the ones you love. Thank you po! You will always be in my heart in your own special place. Rest in peace! My dear Manoy Dando,
It pains all of us that you've now left the face of this earth and join the Kingdom of God and beloved Manay Myrna. You're a shining example and role model for many of us, and we sincerely thank you for the exemplary motivations you've shown all of us. You're a most dedicated and loving father and servant to the Lord. I will miss our lengthy conversations whenever we had the chance to chat as we shared happy memories, and cherish the journey of how we got to who and what we are today. You always acknowledged when I say I love you during the close of our conversations. I am forever grateful for your guidance and teaching me good morals during my young formative years which I now carry in my adult life. Your legacy as our respected mentor and motivator will forever remain with us. We'll miss and love you and may you rest in eternal peace.

My only brother-in-law, rest in peace. Kuya, you are now reunited with Ate in heaven. Send my hugs to her. You will be missed so much. Chemo sessions is over. Pain is gone now. I remember during this pandemic, face masks were running out of stock here so I called you. After a few days, we got the package of N95 and protective glasses. You are always there for our family in any problems big and small. Whenever me and Rene are on vacation at CA, you find happiness buying stuff for everybody as "pasalubong". You don't forget to buy Rene footwears knowing his american size feet. Kuya, farewell. We love you so much.

It’s been one week and I still can’t believe how suddenly we lost you, Lolo...
You were an incredible example of what it means to love and serve others wholeheartedly. Whether it was your own family or those in need abroad, you dedicated your life to making things better for everyone.
You were eager to learn everything you could about business and instilled the importance to “Save!” in all of us kids. We will do our best to continue to make you proud.

It sad to think that kuya Arnaldo is gone,. No more pain and reunited with ate Myrna in heaven. Thank so much of your kindness and straight forward as person. You are my mentor as far as military is concerned,. Only that, I did not joined the Philippine Air Force and rather than in the Philippine Army retired as Colonel. Rest in eternal peace Manoy Dando! a month ago, you called me, just to thank me of the Porto's pastries i brought whenever, i visit Vallejo, then you said, Ann Ann order now online! after that call i noticed that you're so active in FB messenger, sending me funny links. We are cousins on both sides of my parents, Barela and Niosco, that's where our roots connects, i know you as a hardworking and principled one, your family was so lucky having you as head of the family!
