Tony and I worked together at the NMDOT and played softball and flag football together for many years. Some of my fondest memories are backpacking up to Lake Katherine with Tony, Dominic and Ed Escudero camping and fishing. Tony and Dominic are now together enjoying paradise forever...

My condolences to the Valdez family I partnered with Tony during many games as refs. Tony was a stand up official who was very fair and treated everyone with respect and was very respected as by everyone as well. Tony was always working to get better even though he was already on top of his game that was just his work ethic, relentless. God needed Tony more than us and I’m sure he was happy with what he got RIP my friend.
